A quiet jewel

We had a dinner last week in this restaurant, we made a Booking for 20 persons but at the end we were only 17. As we were doing the booking they asked for a pre-payment (350€), which i can understand as we were lot of people, and they "forced" us to go for a menu (consisting in an starter, followed... More

A small jewel! Had dinner the night after the big flood in Cannes. Being very nervous about all the horrible things we had seen in the streets of Cannes & Mandelieu this small restaurant was soo nice. A very warm welcome and a nicely served aperitif made our badly started evening turn into a nice one. The food was excellent... More

This is the second time me and my family visited this restaurant and it certainly delivers! The food is amazing, beautifully cooked with new combinations of flavours that work perfectly together. Innovative. Not to mention the hostess who is great customer service personified! Highly personal and cheerful and knowledgeable service, with a big smile. Great recommendations for wine to go... Our group agreed this was one of our two best dinners while in Cannes for Cannes Lions. A small, quaint restaurant where they clearly take great pride in serving food that is as delicious as it is beautiful. Started with an asparagus duo served with quail eggs, a cashew and bacon emulsion, and a lard espuma. Delicious. Highly recommend the... More

We spent a great evening there. Very delicious food, very nicely decorated. The service was also very enjoyable. Thus, if you would like to spend a quiet evening in a small restaurant, but with great food, then La Toque d'Or is highly recommended. It is not cheap food and if you are passing by, you might not expect that you... More

My boyfriend and I booked this restaurant based on the good reviews we had read on Tripadvisor and we weren't disappointed. The restaurant was very small, intimate and quiet on the evening we went which was just what we wanted. The food was very interesting; I had lamb with a toblerone crust which sounds slightly bizarre but was absolutely delicious.... More

Friendly and intimate atmosphere with only 5 tables at this restaurant, the service was personable and attentive. We tried the three course lunch menu which changes depending on the produce they have available. Today, the entrée was foie de poulet with cream of pumpkin, followed by a seared veal and cabbage main. Dessert was an excellent - pistachio crème on... More

If you want to meet those people who do everything to support the stereotype of the french being the rudest nation - come to this restaurant: the rudest and the most arrogant waitress in the world works in this place. A person who messed up your reservation and after that can afford to tell you "there is the door you... More
