GREAT VALUE LUNCH IN CANNES!

We were here for lunch in August and I booked this restaurant from London as I had read some good reviews. We were not disappointed. This restaurant had been recommended to me. I went alone and there were very few people in the restaurant when I arrived. The two that were there seemed to be regulars (or might have been the owners). I was helped right away. My server was lovely and very professional. I had a salad which was quite tasty and ordered one... More

Our Tour Group (20) took us to this restaurant. We ate early by European time so we were the only ones when we arrived. The service, food and atmosphere was excellent. We had multiple selections for each course and every one raved about each one. By the time we left the outside seating was full, we know why We wished... More

Good for someone looking for authentic French cuisine. If I'm back to scanned I will definitely pay a visit again. Staff is friendly and many regular local eat here.

Over the past few years we have had the pleasure of eating at La Meissouniere. In fact when we are in Cannes it is a "must"! Claire and her team provide a warm French welcome and the food is extraordinary. The Rib Eye steak for 2 with bone marrow is the best I have had anywhere in the world. There... More

We were there on the night of the thunderstorm which cost the lives of over 20 people in the region. The street outside turned into a torrent but the waitresses (and the chef, Claire) worked like demons to keep the water out of the restaurant. A friend of ours directed the operations so they could build a wall of tables... More

It was the restaurant which both tripadvisor and lonely planet recommend. It was not bad but nothing special. Anyhow, the main dish, the duck with special source was nice, and the dessert, tiramisu was good. If you don't have any choiced, this restaurant will be an option.

Even though we were a large group of people (22), we got great service. The food was very good, and they had a dessert for gourmands (pigs) that had 3 of their best items in miniature for those of us who couldn't choose. It's an attractive, modern room with family pictures on the wall.

The love of my life is lying in bed right now instead of running around sunny Cannes, because of the very very average os a moelle and gummy, undercooked beef. Food poisoning is always nice. Also, 45 minutes of waiting for food, because the waiter forgot what was our order and had to take it twice.

Dear zjaworowska, I am really sorry to hear about the "love of your life" misfortune. Nevertheless I have a few remarks regarding your review on my restaurant. It is very unlikely to get food poisoning from a marrow bone as it is made mainly of fat and fat prevents bacteria development. Moreover, I guess I am not the only place... More
