Nice traditional french restaurant

The food were great and we were quite impressed that the food came with plated presentation. There was a younger waiter that served us because he was the only person that could speak English; hence service was a little slow only because we had to wait for him to order our food. Very Provençal. Delicious, fresh and reasonably priced food. Good service, although the French always seem to have an attitude. No credit cards. In a pedestrian street but yet accessible by car, as there is a car park nearby.

The food were great and we were quite impressed that the food came with plated presentation. Loved the decor inside the restaurant.

We decided to eat here on a family outing in Cannes. Nice atmosphere but unfortunately a bit disappointing in terms of two things: You can't pay by card or cheque and you cannot telephone them to make a reservation. It is not noted outside the restaurant that you can't pay by card, so must be embarrassing when someone doesn't read... More

I'm so happy we followed our Lonely Planet advice this time instead of checking tripadvisor reviews. Otherwise we might have skipped this wonderful place! We decided to go for the £29 menu and a bottle of white wine from the region, and everything was delicious! We have been a bit sceptical about French cuisine but after this dinner we are... More

Tried this restaurant following a good article in the press, impressed by the choice in the unique menu, but really frustrated when the dishes arrived on the table. Everything was good, but the size of dishes pushed us to find another place afterwards to finish lunch.

Went here at the suggestion of a business colleague. Really disappointing food and service, handwritten bill and they don't take credit cards, which is always suspicious. It's located in a grubby pedestrian street 2 blocks back from the promenade. Beef tasted like an old shoe! Glad I wasn't paying, although it's not expensive.

For a BIB Gourmand restaurant I was not too impressed. Service was good, the food was well-cooked but not really Worth the Money. The place is nice and the outside seating is directly on the sidewalk which makes it very lively in a good way. I will probably give it one more try...

What a disappointment. After eating here for years it appears to have adopted a "who cares" attitude in both the food and service. Dishes we have always enjoyed were mediocre at best. Nothing wrong, but nothing outstanding, the way it used to be. Service was awful. After fifteen years I'm afraid it goes on the Do Not Recommend List. Pity.

My mother, father & I started coming to this restaurant when I was just 9 years old. I myself continued to visit on & off for a further 14 years & my parents for 25 years. This year I took my mother back for a longed for visit. It’s still the same family! Romain has now retired but his son... More
