This was our second time dining at L'Affable. The first time was exactly one year ago and it made an impression. Once again we found it to be charming and delicious. We had the prix fixe menu which included the pumpkin soup with foie gras, the veal, the Seabass, the apple crumble, and most importantly,The Grand Marnier soufflé. All were... More

We went to l'Affable with my wife for a romantic dinner, the food was really good and the portion quite big. We had the 44€ menu which was more than enough. On the other side, everything is quite impersonal and the service is correct but "cold", there is something reminding of a "factory"....

First time to this restaurant and we would hope to visit again, as it is the only time I have enjoyed a decent meal in Cannes. Classic french fare nodding towards trendy with sufficient menu choice made for a good evening shared with friends. I particularly enjoyed my tempura prawn, and the sliced beef was appetising. The pumpkin soup also... More

We tried Laffable again, after 6 months, and found their standards had gone down, while their prices had risen. Previously we gave it 4 out of 5. Today we are struggling to give it 3 ! The quality of the food has gone down...has the Chef lost interest ? The portions have also got smaller. Such a pity because it... More

Obviously trendy and popular, and it's a fine place. But the noise is overpowering and it's more crowded than most crowded Cannes eateries. Seems very narrow...not real deep either. Some confusion on reservations, and for others too. Very friendly and were patient with the ever-evolving size of our party (we merged two into one). Only 9PM resv. was available weeks... More

If you want simple but good tasting food . It s a place for you! Very good deserts (crème brûlée and souffle) I enjoyed, my husband didn't!

Welcomed by Laura.... Two for set lunch today, started with champagne aperitif, pyramid of tabbouleh surrounded by warm giant prawns, lemon risotto, mains of aioli, and finished with the house special of grand Marnier soufflé ... all polished off with a bottle of local rose..simply outstanding!

This is one of the best places to eat in Cannes. The service is "affable" and the food is divine. I love that you can see inside the kitchen. They have great "formules" for lunch. Don't leave without trying their Grand Marnier soufflé!

Nice restaurant, food tastes good but the dishes are uninspired. From a dish "spicy lobster & pasta" we had expected handmade pasta or something else than plain penne in a bowl with the lobster on top. The day before we dined at the "Mantel" restaurant and their lobster ravioli were exceptional. I would recommend Mantel over L'Affable.

I know this chef is a renowned one. My wife had heard of him. However, my meal was just average. I will say the souffle grand marnier for dessert was really good. Most people really like this restaurant, so it could just be me.
