I eat here whenever I visit this area of France. The food is fantastic, and the setting is so nice in the old part of town. The ice cream in particular is the best I've ever tasted. Unbelievable! The only down side is the waiter. Sometimes I've been served by the most fantastic young lady who is very attentive, helpful... More

I died and went to culinary heaven. OMG, this is the place where I want to have my last meal, phenomenal, delicious, great, awesome, and did I mention delicious? I am not a foodie but this place is the bomb. I still dream about the appetizer I ordered. Great staff (we were being helped by the female owner that you... More

Held a business dinner here in the oldest restaurant in Cannes. The fish soup is beyond a doubt the best I have ever had in any country. I went to the Carlton hotel for a luncheon meeting a few days later, tasted their fish soup and told the waiter to take it away. Auberge Provencale da Bouttau has spoiled me.... More

My friend and I both had the fresh fish that they brought to the table to show us before cooking it. The waiter did a fantastic job trimming and de-boning the fish, and I don't think I ever tasted anything so fresh and tender. The wine(s) were fabulous, and so was the dessert (I don't remember what it was). I... More

We came her for lunch, just by chance. We had a 3 course meal for 33 Euros, which was Amazing! Every dish was superbly presented and full of flavor. We had the goat cheese salad for starter and the cod fish for main. Both dishes were superb! This restaurant is full of character and in a little street. Wish we... More

You'd expect a busy alleyway full of restaurants to be infiltrated by tourist traps, but Cannes oldest restaurant is anything but. The fixed price menu offers great value at €33. Traditional French food with just the slightest touch of modernist cuisine e.g. parmesan foam with the starter. The main was superb, sliced squid pieces turned on their side and filled... More

This has been a "wow" experience all around. This place surely deserves it's recommendation in the Guide Michelin. Our son stated, that this has been one of the best meals in his life. We tried salads/goat cheese appetizers, veal and fish and everyone in our party couldn't stop expressing how creative the combinations of great tastes and how beautiful the... More
