Good experience.

If you like meat and an original ambiance you should go there. In the old town of Cannes you will have a family service And a very good meat. Thank you for this night

A great find tucked away in Rue Saint Antoine a restaurant that hasn't changed its decor or menu in years, but don't be put off by that. It's a fixed price and menu, four courses of heaven especially the meat, chicken, steak or lamb. It's not a big restaurant, so I suggest you book! I won't say anymore as it... More

Me and my fiancée's family came here in late-June 2014 and it was my first time; although her family have been going for years. There's only one menu on offer and it is excellent. You start with some lovely ham and melon, followed by a huge basket of raw vegetables which you dip in some exquisite sauces. You then can... More

Such a great restaurant. Extraordinary Meat, very friendly service and fair prices. Everything is so fresh and tasty! The wine they recommend is fitting perfectly. If you're in Cannes, come here. Save some room for dessert as well! It's just a little bit small but very charming.

Reservations for this restaurant are hard to come by, especially in the peak summer months. We managed to somehow secure a table for 6 in a restaurant that fits 30 people maximum. We were sitting shoulder to shoulder with other guests but as soon as we were served the beyond generous salad basket, we knew we were in a real... More

We were lucky to secure a reservation at Le Maschou and loved its old style decor and menu; albeit a set menu which most definitely had carnivorous leanings. We were amused by and appreciated the huge salad basket which had mushroom, tomato, endive, purple cabbage and eggs, yet somehow left out the lettuce, given that meat and more meat were... More

Step back in time to eat at this "old" Cannes favourite. Walking up the narrow street to this venue is a treat in itself. the tiny street is filled with bars, restaurants, all brimming with life. Entering the dark cave and being squeezed into one of the small tables is fun and certainly felt like we were experiencing a traditional... More

Heard that the chicken entree was excellent but since my fiancé and I do not eat meat we were served an omelette for our main. I think Maschou is amazing if you eat meat but stay away if you don't. Try Gavroche up the street instead.

This is a restaurant that seems to divide opinion and I think you'll either like the place a great deal or you won't like it much. It's a good fun place and we visited for dinner with some friends and their sons who were in their late teens and this youthful input enhanced our evening: this is definitely not a... More

It's always a pleasure to eat in this very tiny atmospheric restaurant. You have to book well ahead to get a reservation especially in the summer but it is worth the wait. The meat is all cooked in a wood fired oven and the large vegetable basket is fantastic. We have come here with family and friends for many years... More
