The menu at 27€ is really good and enough. I choose the Foie gras poêlé, and Loup grillé, and a tiramisu. The waiter was very nice, and we started at 21h ( we waited to be outdoor, in the street). The menu for children is really to be taken if they.re less than 10 (my kids were a bit hungry).

Hey guys so this place that they call a restaurant is anything but!! With there cheaply printed photos of celebrities on the walls I should have known what was to come. The waiter who took our orders was not interested at all and constantly looking away and asking us to repeat what we had said simply because he was not... More

We found the maître de to be rude and obnoxious, to the extent that I joined TripAdvisor to document it. A place best avoided. It's not as if you're lacking options on this street.

Appeared to be a nice restaurant in a good location so we decided to join friends here for dinner. The head waiter was very pleasant and friendly while the head waitress was sullen and not very friendly. The food was fine and we enjoyed our meal. However , as soon as we declined to have coffee the bill was on... More

Le Marais is one of about sixty (yes, sixty) restaurants in the old part of Cannes called "Le Suquet". It is situated about half up the winding hill, rue du Suquet that leads from the port area to the top of the old city. It has been around for about 40 years, and now has two locations, one on either... More

Well this is Cannes, so everything is completely overpriced to start with! The position on the Rue de Suchet is good and the service pretty good although one lady seemed a little off. The principle waiter was on very good though in all respects. Food was ok , nothing more. Drink prices are extortinate. however, when in Cannes.................it will cost!

On our 1st visit to Rue du Suquet we were intrigued by the prix fixe menu and stopped here. What a delight! All delicious with excellent service. The Three Chocolate Cake (Truffle/mousse) was the best dessert we had in France so far. Highly recommend.

WE were there last year and enjoyed it very much. We even considered it one of our new favorite restaurants (three in total in Cannes), but this year everything tasted a little shallow, service was not so charming, beside the boss of the restaurant, who acquires in the street and manages the staff, that seemed a little helpless at times... I had been to this restaurant over the past 3 years during the film festival and had always looked forward to going back. Sadly, this year I was pretty let down. The food quality seems to have gone down, whilst the prices are quite high. On the whole, not a terrible place to eat considering the low standard of similarly... More

Tourist restaurants are very often disappointing and are frequently a rip off. Le Marais in Cannes was different. The staff including a very hardworking greeter were efficient and welcoming. The set menu at 27 euros was extremely good value for three well cooked and well presented dishes.
