I chose to eat here because it was the only restaurant in the whole Cagnes-sur-Mer seafront that was not directly on the road facing traffic (apart from the daytime sunning/bathing sites). You can spend some time in the sunshine entertained by the activities going on in the fishing port in front... read more

La Bourride overlooks the old port & there are attractive views out to sea & across the bay to Antibes. Unfortunately it was too windy to sit outside on the pretty terraced area, but there is an equally attractive internal courtyard & the dining room is very spacious. On a blustery Monday night it was rather quiet hence lacking atmosphere,... More

The food was not bed but far for being very good. It seems that the restaurant is living from a past reputation. Very expensive for what it offers! To cut it short, an address to avoid.

My husband and I have been making an annual twice a year pilgrimage to this beautiful restaurant at the small harbour in Cagnes -sue-Mer and for the first time we have left without that spring in our step .... .. Something was just not right Our waiter was just too too smart ... We ordered by name a good bottle... More

On a warm, balmy Cote d'Azure evening we visited this restaurant for the 3rd time and sat on the terrace overlooking the picturesque fishing port of Cros de Cagnes. To say that it was idyllic is a gross understatement and the ambience, service and quality of food was just the icing on the cake. It isn't cheap, but based on... More

I have been going to La Bourride for over 20 years, and it is still the best at its signature dish-Bourride, the seafood soup. I prefer Bourride to its better-known French seafood soup, Bouillabaisse. As far as I am concerned, Bourride is to Bouillabaisse as New England clam chowder is to Manhattan clam chowder: I prefer the cream-based soup to... More

La Bourride was recommended to us by our hotel concierge as having the best bouillabaisse in the Nice area. I've had better bouillabaisse in Utah. 45 euros and no lobster. Only one shrimp and the flavor of the broth was bland. All in all, it was a huge disappointment. My wife had seafood chowder also for 45 euros. It was... More

Second time I get there and food was both times exceptionnal! Their menu is quite small but that's rather a sign of quality. I was astonished by their oysters, I cannot recall better oysters even in South-west of France... Their fishes are also excellent, as well as the presentation and all desserts! Wines offered are also great. Only the atmosphere/decoration... More

We had an excellent 30th anniversary dinner in this restaurant. La Bourride soup is a must to try. Very good wine - just perfect french food, really delicious :) Will definitely come back again. Very delicious food with french-style service if you know what i mean ;)
