This is a gem find in the hilltop village of Cagnes-sur-Mer. A wife and husband owned and operated restaurant. Laurent is the chef, owner and table waiter. His passion for daily market fresh ingredients, knowledge of local cuisine and love of cooking embraces every taste in each of his dishes. And his table side manner is more than worth the... More

I went there this past September and by far the best dinner we had in our cote d'azur trip, cannot recommend it more. The chef was super friendly and took time to chat us in between dishes, which made our night even more enjoyable. Getting there could be a bit tricky if you don't have a car, but there is... More

We had a delightful meal at Le Perousin. A cosy air conditioned restaurant. Small menu of fresh produce. Great service. Really recommend it.

this was the 1st restaurant we went to on our trip to france; little did we know it would probably be the most reasonable , and laurent, the most friendly host. i reccomend it highly to people who want food prepared with care, in a small intimate place. we loved it . certainly way better than all the touristy places... We went there in June of 2014. Our meal was very good. The chef and his wife run the place. And, we had starters and a nice entree. The Gambas were especially tasty. The wine list is very short, but we had a great bottle of wine. It was a slow night and we didn't encounter many other diners, but... More

Do yourself a favour when visiting Le Haut-de-Cagnes medieval village in Cagnes Sur Mer and walk down the hill from the square passing a couple of other restaurants until you get to this little gem. Le Perousin is a family run business with a very passionate and engaging chef. We had the house specialty courgettes for entree followed by wood... More

This tiny restaurant packs a punch well above its size. This family business is what dining out is all about. Warm welcome, cosy surroundings, changing menu, fresh produce and a real desire on behalf of the chef to serve the very best food on your plate every time. We enjoyed the amuse bouche and both starters and mains were perfect.... More

The chef (owner) was very engaging and passionate which added to the experience. A wood fired oven cooked out choices - steak! - fantastically - every course was a delight - highly recommend !

We discovered Le Perousin on the second last night of our 2 week holiday in Cagnes Sur Mer. And what a memorable experience we had on both nights. The food was wonderful, the wine amazing and the whole sense that the 2 owners really cared about what they were doing made the 2 evenings a truly memorable experience. Our little... More
