First time in Biot and the place is packed for the annual international ‘petanque carrés championship’ which made our visit even more interesting. Plenty of restaurants in this lovely village and all of them fully booked, so difficult pick, at least according to ‘the the bigger the crowd the better the food, (hopefully)’ criterion. Our Moleskine guide book suggested La... More

It doesn't get much better than sitting in a square in a small French village enjoying the sun and the plat du jour. Le Cafe De La Poste is opposite the square and the waiters bring your food across. It looks great to see them scurrying about with plates of food, it is always interesting seeing what other people are... More

Nice bar in the main street of Biot. We sat just outside, on the little road running between the shops. Good service, and a good price. Lots of outdoor seating available on the square.

The place is very cozy and the food is very good, we ordered sea bass and it was excellent. The owners are very nice and I would go back tomorrow if I could.

Food and value was good. Location is perfect as it is set in the middle of town. Moules and raviolis were delicious, rose reserve for the restaurant is a good summer wine. Service was sufficient but not warm. We would definitely return.

We visited Valbonne for a busy day at the local market, on the way back we called in to the beautiful village of Biot. We were both starving, and sat in the village square , the tables being serviced by La Poste. I enjoyed superb Moules Marinieres, and my wife, Red Mullet, the prices were very reasonable, and the village... More

Went for lunch on Sunday 21 July in a party of 4. Table outside but under a parasol so the heat wasn't an issue. We all had the same dish which was the plat du jour being St Pierre, which we know as John Dory and which was served, as a fillet, pan fried on a bed of grilled seasonal... More

Went last Friday (17 May) - five of us - only table taken for dinner inside. It is newish inside comparared to two years ago. Food was good value, quality and service could not be better. They get by on English. Definately worth a visit and yes the portion size for the Moules is huge! I had mixed fish which... More

Well, what a treat is the small hilltop town near Antibes. It was a cold winter's day in December when we visited and parking was a real problem. Having made it to the top, the only car park with any spaces was at the bottom on the other side. This meant, once we'd parked the car, a near vertical trek... More
