Pretty good stop

30 years ago this had been the hot spot for my mom and her friends when they were living in Nice, so of course we had to pay a visit. We didn't have any reservation but the restaurant was barely half full so it wasn't needed, however we were still seated in the corner right up next to another... read more

Service so poor it took three hours for two courses. Three of our party of four returned their mussel dishes which smelled strongly of sewage. We were told they were fine and no allowance was made on the bill. Dreadful experience which will never be repeated.

Cute setting, charming staff and fabulous food. Could not fault any of the food or service. A must for anyone in the area looking for informal setting, honest food and good wine.

First impression I thought it was going to be a bit fish and chip style, but specials on menu board were excellent. Full of locals and great atmosphere and really good food.

It is both a restaurant and a pizzeria which seems to be favored by locals. Helpful staff, a good choice of local dishes (ravioli en daube, gnocchi), unpretentious atmosphere, children menu. There is a quiet little dining-room on the side.

Six of us ate here last week and had a lovely meal. Everyone enjoyed their food - steaks, veal and pizzas were all eaten. We were made very welcome and even arranged to watch the rugby on their tv. Lovely atmosphere and will definitely be going back!

We were looking for a casual Saturday lunch and based on their large menu, decided to give it a try. The staff was very helpful and friendly, attentive but not bothersome. I had roast chicken and fries and my wife enjoyed and salad with lots of mushroom, potato, lardon and a poached egg. We shared a house made lemon tart... More

Le Catalan is usually open when most of the other restaurants are closed. It is very convenient and the food is very good. The pizza, as in most of the south of France, is excellent.

We arrived late and we know that, in France, its difficult to eat after hours. By luck, next to our hotel we discovered this restaurant. The staff was very friendly and they explain us that, at that time, we could choose some pastas our pizzas. The next day, we returne and choose grilled fish for us and lasagna for the... More
