A Letdown.

First priority of any restaurant is to make the clients welcome. A reception by a stony faced 'look at me, havn't I got long legs?' young girl sets an immediate wrong tone. Being seated at your reserved table for two, sized for four and laid for three does not improve the experience. And the... read more

Bad food, bad service, bad place. As simple as that. There is no way clients should pay so much for such a service and food. There is a small waiter with the glasses who is the most impolite and unprofessional I have ever seen in my life. If you don't want to be fooled go somewhere else!!!

Our five star hotel sent us to the African Queen with reservations for a table and cautions about the food and service. All in our party thought the food and service were great. We returned for a second meal the next night without reservations and were treated with the same great service. The only problem was that we were seated... More

Well, in spite of the real pilgrimage of people (mostly Russians and British, who believe that the real French Cuisine definitely must have a price of fortune) in there... A part of a good service, the food is much lower than average, unfortunately for the beautiful place and "whole year open". It is curious, but just in few steps before... More

We have been a few times here so we have really trying to give them a chance because the location is nice and the food too. The problem: the service is a disaster: we were waiting for over one hour four our table that was booked without even someone offered us a glas of water!!! Another time they forgot my... More

My friends and I decided to try the African Queen for a late Sunday lunch last week. The menu was large and varied and reasonably priced. The starters were delicious. My friends chose the “African Salad” and the Roquette and Parmesan salad, whilst I had the “African Queen Cocktail” (shrimps, avocado and tomatoes) which was yummy. Everything was going well... Delicious food reasonable prices for the area cant really fault it. We went there for both lunch and dinner. The Sushi is delicious and the Carpaccio with truffle was really good.

We've been to this place and the service was a disaster and the food not so good. It's might be because there are only Russians people who go to this restaurant so it's very expensive and not so good.

As we all know as many restaurants close as open and it is very rare for a restaurant to survive through multiple decades, but this one has. We were there on a Tuesday and quite honestly, it was the only show in town on the night. You can choose an inexpensive pizza or an expensive fresh fish - it's your... More
