Used to visit the African Queen quite often but not sure whether I would rush back. The view of the port is beautiful and the ambiance is great, but unfortunately the standard of food seems to have dropped over the years. The pizza was overly cheesy, which made it difficult to eat the whole thing. The meal was quite expensive... More

This place became very touristy but visited twice in the last week for lunch and dinner and it is much nicer than it used to be. Good menu with very good steaks and pizzas. Not the cheapest place but lovely to sit and look out across the port.

Terrible service and food. Three main courses arrived after 1.5 hrs, followed by the remaining two another 30 mins later! No apology, the steaks were not good either. Truffle pizza is good. If I go again I will order pizza! Upmarket pizzeria.

This place is meant to be something of an institution, but my sense is it is living more on past glory and probably needs to up its game in order to retain its place in regular diners' rankings. Atmosphere and ambience are great, and it is a great people watching scene. Food was good, but nothing to really rave about.... More

Delicious food, great staff! Shame about the clientele that go there, overly rich russians with spoilt kids that scream their lungs out. Used to be classy, if you were on an average income and you wanted to treat your friends or family to an expensive good meal you'd come here. Now its swamped by stupidly rich people who have kids... Food was okay, nothing special. €8 for Bottled water when we asked for tap. Not told about soda included in kids' meals and huffed and puffed about this when we enquired. Most memorable for waiter standing over my husband waiting for his tip. Couldn't recommend.

There is no doubt that the setting adds to the experience but this is the most popular restaurant in the Beaulieu port and they all have the same setting. It is def more fun to sit in the outside section over looking the boats and although the tables are quite close together, it adds to part of the fun. We... More

Located right down in the marina, this casual place was quite fun. The food is not the best I've had in my life but it was all great with generous portions of truffle with artichoke salad and truffle pizza. It is great with kids as their menu has a bit of everything and suits all tastes . For a casual... More

Nice food, nice service but over hyped, overpriced and a little pretentious. We went twice though during our stay so it must have been ok.

I was invited by friends to this restaurant but looking at it from outside I realized it was a tourist trap and I wasn't wrong. The service was rushed with the waiters throwing the plates and not paying attention, while the food was very bad. The pizza had no tomato sauce and tasteless and my canned ravioli was disgusting with... More
