As discovered by others, this seems to be a "whole evening experience" style restaurant. You really need to allow time to enjoy, and not be expecting a short dinner over an hour. However this should be seen as good value, as the pricing for such a night of top food and service is quite reasonable, especially the fixed menus. There... More

Classical silver service restaurant. The 35 euro menu probably best choice menu, it would have been superb except the main course fish dish was slightly undercooked, I chose the Chiefs Special Steak Rossini, unfortunately well over cooked, but you do feel that this is normally a very fine restaurant and will definitely give it another visit. Good choice of wine... More

Great place for high-end service and food. The type of place where you don't want to go looking scruffy. Good wine list too.

If you like booking a table for 8:30 and eating your starter at 9:30 this is the place for you. Prepare to wait so long for the food that you run out of conversation. The food is nice but the service is not professional and very slow. I would not want to go back to a place where I feel... More

The appetizers, balls of cheese rolled in sesame seeds, olive cakes are beautifully presented but rather bland. The foie gras with the clementine jelly was beautiful as well and good, not great. The gambas with grilled tampinambours were very good. But the desserts were outstanding, especially the almond bicuit with speculoos ice cream (coming from Amsterdam, I was really impressed!).... This restaurant was a delight from the beginning to the end. Very good service, excellent food, nice decoration. I was really impressed by the dessert, poire pochée caramel beurre salé. It is ideal for a romantic diner. I'm very not sure there is other such great restaurants in Antibes!! I recommend it strongly!!

I first went to Le Vauban in 2006 when they opened the restaurant. Since then I have become a true fan. I went two weeks ago with my parents and it was a delightful dinner as usual! The prix fixe menu is the best you can find in town in terms of quality and creativity. The interior design has been... More

This was a pleasant dining experience - if quite formal. The food was well presented and nicely cooked……..but it lacked the wow factor. Maybe I was expecting too much, but this is an expensive restaurant and definitely promotes itself as a fine dining experience.

In nine years visiting Antibes, we have never had less than an excellent meal at Le Vauban. The menu is varied, accessible and always has a surprise, even in a familiar dish such as breast of duck, whose accompaniment can vary from beautifully arranged squares of apricot or cherry confit, depending on the day's market. The 39 euro menu comprises... More

The staff here were very very rude and almost knocked over an elderly gentleman travelling with our tour. They did not appear to want us to sit down and dirty their table cloths even though we would have spent at least 400 euro in the short time we were there and then proceded to obviously snickerabout us after our guide...
