Great French Vegetarian

Lost in the back streets of Antibes, Chez Helen is well worth seeking out. It's small, so be prepared to wait or book ahead. Husband and wife wholly run the show.....she cooks and he serves. A main course of the day but its the array of 7 appetizers that is the star of the meal. Family style, serve yourself......as much as you want. For my daughter and I, we were satisfied with the appetizers.. but did proceed with an exceptional ossobucco followed by a... More

This was the third time I visited Chez Helen and the food was amazing everytime! I just wish they had more options with the lasagne, since everytime I've visited it was the same. Otherwise really nice atmosphere and great menu. I am glad to find great tasting vegetarian food from France!

I was hoping to have lunch here but totally got lost in the maze-like neighborhood. After having lunch elsewhere as well as some ice cream, I was still lost and just kept walking in this amazing yet confusing old-town. Then all of a sudden Chez Helen magically appeared as if I was meant to go in even though I was... More

Our party of 5 arrived just after lunch service had finished. A quick check with the kitchen and a table was laid for a simple but subtle meal at what must be one of the best value venues in Antibes. Fresh flavours combined with friendly, fun service made for a memorable occasion. Good aubergine lasagne, lentil curry and one of... More

The place is only open for lunch and it is conveniently placed in one of the many back streets of Antibes close to the "place de resistance". A great advantage: the sun does not enter the restaurant - i.e.somewhat less warm place because you have to sit inside(3 fans on the/ceiling and walls to comfort you). They serve mainly vegetarian-... More

Happened into this little spot for lunch, great find! Obviously a favorite with locals. Had the feta salad, most delicious salad In Antibes. Beautiful ingredients, great flavor, lots of interesting dishes. Great choice for hot days in Antibes when you fell like lighter fare. Would definitely go again.

Chez Helen is my favorite restaurant for lunch and all the meals are unique. The daily specials are not to be missed. I almost always order them when I'm there. You don't have to be a vegetarian to love Chez Helen.

A very cozy and nice little place run by husband and wife. Very chilled and friendly atmosphere. The food is absolutely fantastic - feel like at home! All is fresh and very tasty. I never miss a chance to have lunch there when visiting Antibes.
