I recently spent a week's holiday in Cannes and I can honestly say that the highlight of our stay was a night spent in the most special restaurant called "L'Armoise" in Antibes. We were welcomed by the friendliest chef, I have ever met - Monsieur Laurent Parrinello. He smiled constantly and spoke perfect English which was marvellous as most of... More

It was a treat to have such a wonderful tasting menu, all prepared, plated by the charming chef, Laurent. Such a modest person, so talented, cooked everything alone, no banging of pots of pans and all done with such pride. It was obvious that Laurent loves what he does like all real artists. The only other person helping him was... More

My friend and I stumbled upon this place on our first night in Antibes, having chosen to steer clear of the tourist places on Bld d'Aguillon. It was quiet for a Friday night, but we were early. It's tiny inside - 6 tables? - but cosy and friendly as a consequence. Our food was delicious - regional specialities cooked and... More

I cannot say any thing else than this one of my best restaurant visits ever. ++++++ The food was just WoW with excellent service. Just don't fall for the temptations to not have cheese on the plate. This is the restaurant to visit. Forget the Michelin star restaurant.

You'll fall in love the moment you enter, it is cosy, personal, with only two staff, one is the divine chef, the other the delightful waitress. So much effort is put into every dish, you'll appreciate every moment.

This cosy spot is tucked behind the market in Antibes. It has about six tables so it is very quiet. The menu is limited but appealing and we had a superb foie gras topped with artichoke and a good pork main dish. The dessert was a chocolate concoction with a mousse like topping and a crunchy base - the other... More

Le chef Laurent and his small spot is a "must" if you have a couple of days or more in Antibes area. Innovative cuisine, interesting food presentation. That's what we like - a level of 1 star Michelin for a 40% of the price. Chef changes his menu every week, it's small but you can always choose what suits your... More

L'Armoise is the perfect small intimate romantic restaurant situated in Antibes. Run by the talented chef Laurent Parrinello, this small restaurant seats 20 people, the set menu is shown on a blackboard, showing a choice of 2 dishes per course (but don't let that put you off) typical prices are 3 courses €45 per person, 4 courses (cheese course extra)... Hello, This is a nice small and cozy restaurant. The food is excellent. The waitress is not particularly friendly but does the job. I recommend you eat the menu or else you might get hungry, they serve "French" portions on the main dishes. I really enjoyed my visit and will come back for sure.

Excellent new addition to Antibes. Innovative chef. Restaurant is a cramped hole in the wall at the end of the market (don't take clients or visiting grandees!). Efficient service.
