Perfect Seafood

This is our second visit to this lovely seafood restaurant in the heart of the town just off the market. The atmosphere is very French and the food is delicious. Love the fish soup and the shell fish towers complimented with a fine wine.

It was selected randomly , just passing by and watching the restaurant inside decoration with interesting suggestions for the day. The restaurant has a form of an old boat . Service is fast and efficient , menu rich for selection !!

We have walked through Antibes many times and had noticed the oyster bar in the Rue de la Republique but had not realised that behind the bar was a very good fish restaurant. Where we ate was most pleasant and resembled the interior of a ship. As with a number of restaurants in the area, at this time of the... More

Service was a bit chaotic - they could easily fix that. Took half an hour to take our order. After that, things flowed better. There was no malice in it - they were actually quite charming. They just need to organise themselves better. The mussels were very small but tender and the creme sauce was nice. The sardines were also... More

Taste was above average. The soup was good although portion was too big; salad was fresh and crisp but I had expected fresh salmon not smoked and more crabmeat and not crab sticks. Service was hesitant and a little haughty.

we went here one lunchtime, and just wanted something small and light, and asked really politely if we could share a dish of mussels, not unreasonable we thought but were told in no uncertain terms NO we could not, so we got up to leave, did not want to stay here as the waiter made us feel uncomfortable - there... Booked table for 9pm and when arrived very busy so encouraged. Howeve r it took over 1hr to receive (cold) starters then a further hour for main courses after numerous enquiries. Whilst waiting additional drinks ordered were not delivered. Eventually it was explained to us that the chef was working with only 2 burners (instead of 6) but little in... More

We went for the oyesters, these were good and price was ok, but then the fish (sea bass) was very expensive. OK it was 1.2 kg but still... we didn't take any bottle of wine, just beer and a glass of wine, and ended up paying around 150€ for two persons. I can't complain about the service or quality, but... This street restaurant is just off the main square. It serves great seafood. Just great. The prices are reasonable. You only need to order one entree or one main course as the plates are large. The walk a few meters down the street for an ice cream dessert.
