Conforms generally to others' remarks but menu incomplete

We had a pleasant evening. Rump steak was tender, cookd perfectly to order and copious. Pizza had a delicious light fresh base and fresh parma ham topping. Vodka Colonel generouand authentic; trio of cremes caramel, very tasty. I had the misfortune to order two items not avaiable that evening -(in... read more

Family diner. Lovely atmosphere. Not too fancy, but not too plain either. Good food and huge portions. Maybe too huge. My 200g of beef tartar was a stretch with entrée and desert.

Our tour group went here for lunch; there were 20 of us and the restaurant had plenty of accomodations. Everything we ate and drank was very very good! There were many courses, alot of food and gelato for desert! Excellent!

La Passion des Mets was a very pleasant surprise. It has a very unassuming exterior and quite a short menu, so we were not expecting much. We ordered the traditional Provencal set menu, and were blown away, frankly. The starters were peppers stuffed with minced pork (divine), the main a beef stew (utterly delicious) and the desserts divine. The house... More

We picked this having looked at reviews and were certainly happy we did. The steak was outstanding, not just for the way it was cooked, but the imagination in the cooking of the vegetables and the way the dish just went together. The children's option was a high quality full size pizza and the house wine good. The deserts, such... More

The sun was shining on the very inviting outside tables, so we stopped for a light lunch. Pizza, mixed salad, cheesecake, coffee and all washed down with a carafe of the house white, which was very good. Simple, fresh salad, perfectly cooked pizza and friendly staff. We'll be back on our next trip.

Great place, great food.. Lovely Chef. No problems with too much seasoning. A gem in a sea of mediocre in a place town that prides itself on selling British foods. Don't bother eating here if you want bog standard...there are plenty of others that will suit you better!

Three of us had an ok meal here. Fish soup tasted like it had been sitting for days. Daube very salty. Beef chewy. Salmon pate gave one of our guests a bad stomach. Menu hard to decipher;seemed partly written in each of 3 languages...French, English and German. No bargains here.
