Having eaten here a year and half ago I took my family here and encountered the complete opposite of my experience then. The staff, as reviewers pointed out, are nearly all ill trained and don't even smile. The whole experience was very unpleasant indeed. The main point for us was the very large pretentious TV screen in front of our... More

I was quite pleased with the Figuier. The ambiance is lovely as the hotel has a small outdoor courtyard featuring...naturally..a fig tree. Service was outstanding. We ordered their classic seafood cannolini starter, followed by lamb. Both were excellent. There was a lot of fanfare around the lamb which is cooked in a packet and presented that way. Its texture was... More

Solid one-star quality . Foie gras was superb. Fish a bit too well done. Desert (variations of lemon) was extremely sweet. I liked it though. Nice patio. If you come by car: they offer valet parking.

I have visited this restaurant twice for dinner in the last seven days. The second time to check my recollection of how good it was. The menu is small, even the a la carte menu is short, but the things I tried were excellent. Great foie gras, Wagu beef, fish of the day. A very small restaurant right in the... More

It was a hot evening, and being placed in the yard, under the pergola, was perfect. The waiters here are not students working part time, but professionally trained waiters. The table sometimes was surrounded by waiters who served the dishes synchronously. The restaurant is elegant, but not too formal. It was visited by families, couples and what looked like business... Where to start? Everyone is treated like a VIP - even the valet parking treated our ancient Renault like a Rolls Royce! Greeted like treasured guests, so many lovely touches. Exceptional food, interesting menu, lots of little extra touches - amuse bouche, mini desserts, personal recommendations, off menu extras catered for (or friend doesn't eat certain things but the chef... It is a refined restaurant but not the fancy type where you leave hungry and tempted by the first sandwich you see on the street. Food was very good and I enjoyed the whole experience. Not cheap at over 100 Euros a person but I will definitely come back next time I am in Antibes, which by the way has... More

We had looked forward to eating at this Michelin-starred restaurant, and we were not let down by the food - it was simply amazing! The dining area is under a tree in an englassed pladio. A TV-screen shows the workings of magic in the kitchen. However, the waiters and the sommelier seemed distant and unengaged, the service was a little... More

We dropped by on the spur of the moment aswewere staying nearby and were lucky to be able to choose one of two unbooked tables on a Wednesday night. We had our nine month old with us and this was no issue. Wonderful professional service, the sommelier had a brilliant knowledge of the wines on offer, and he listened to... More

Read the great reviews in here and decided to give it a go. I double check w the concierge of my hotel n they also highly recommended it. Even the taxi who drove us there said it's a good reataurant. We went there for lunch. Not that full for Sunday. I love the patio area where it provides natural sunlight.... More
