Loved the Place, the service was excellent and the food was magnificent. A must if you are visiting Avignon and feel like fine dining by chef Thierry Baucher.

Quality of the dinner and style of presentation - very professional and clearly the cuisine expertly prepared by a superb chef
This is an elegant dining experience. The surroundings are smart. The greeting from Madame (her husband is the chef) and her staff was warm and friendly. We choose the vegetarian menu, which promised surprises and we were not let down. We started with a taster of three cheese-flavoured mouthfuls, all different. Then a delicious amuse-bouche of herb and spinach soup....

Tonight I'm revisiting Les 5 sens for the second time for what I can guarantee will be another fine dining experience. Every offering was a treat for the senses. I went with three signature dishes. The helpful staff matched what I had ordered with an appropriate wine. They also provided a helpful introduction to each course as per a degustation...

We had seen the sign for this restaurant as we wandered Avignon on Saturday afternoon. After checking TripAdvisor for reviews we asked our hotel to make reservations for that evening and we were so glad we did. As we sat enjoying our meal many came to the door hoping to eat but were turned away as the restaurant was fully...

It was one of those restaurants where you knew the food would be something special because the chef put in the time to do a menu that made you not want the meal to end
This boutique restaurant is an oasis in Avignon -- make reservations. A tad pricy but worth every morsel. Fantastic service, delightful presentation, and scrumptious food: the duck, the pork, the fish - all were well prepared and flavorful. The desserts are terrific. Well paired wine. I would hesitate to bring restless young children as space is tight and they might...

The place looks fancy but the chef is lazy. The décor is more suitable for a Chinese restaurant. The food came cold. The Fois Gras was very tasty. The Cassoulet, Thierry Baucher’s speciality, was very disappointing. It came cold and had to be sent back to be warmed up (and burnt). The dessert (Chocolat grand cru Araguani) tasted more like...

But these guys know how to cook imaginative vegetarian dishes that leave your taste-buds begging for more. The vegetarian degustation menu is an experience not to be missed. Note: this is not...

fantastic food and very good service. A gourmet little gem of a restaurant that we stumbled across - and they even have a fantastic vegetarian menu (this is quite something in France!). I would definitely recommend eating here for a "special" meal.
