After having spent a week in the Côte d'Azur, being exposed to anything but the best service on the planet, this place came as a really pleasant surprise. The food was amazing, we had a cheese plate for a start, and then shared a chèvre salad and a Provence style fish, and both were absolutely delicious. Pity we are only... More

We arrived a bit worried given the mixed reviews, but that quickly went away as the food was amazing, service was great (at least on French standards :)) and the wines were good (strangely I thought the food was better than the wines...). We had an excellent cheese platter, a delicious white fish and tomato dish and a chèvre salad,... More

A great French restaurant with excellent food and drink options. We had lunch and thoroughly enjoyed the experience. Knowing very little French our waiter assisted us with our choices. Highly recommended option a little off the Main Street in a quant little courtyard in Avignon.

Some nights we like to take three courses, other nights we like to drink nice wine and share some fine cheese and meats. If you like the later...... AOC is the place to be. The staff are so good in helping you to choose from the many fine wines. They ask for your budget and recommend the best wines in... More

Yesterday we said we had the best value meal in France at "New Ground" well today's lunch was just as good. The Plat du Jour was Salmon baked in FILO pastry with vegetables. The vegetables were superb with carrot, snow peas, tomato, and potato on a pesto base with the salmon cooked to perfection in a crispy pastry, yum. The... More

We rated thus restaurant highly because the one person operated experience was efficient, attentive, and a superb value. The wine selection was extensive and well referenced by the operator. The food was delectable and our group of 14 was easily managed without any reduction in expected good service. Rick was consistently attentive and his recommendations were spot- on for each... More

Ate here twice in one week in April. According to their social media, it's still open. They just moved and haven't updated location on TripAdvisor. Go to 5, place Jerusalem, it's there. Perhaps they're too busy running a restaurant to update here. Hard to fault them, as the food and wine makes this excusable! Dinner: limited menu, but perfectly serviceable.... More

The AOC has closed and been replaced by a new restaurant, Le Petit Comptour. The new place has simple fare but was very good.

This started us on a wonderful trip to France. We sampled wines from the region and were able to get some excellent French food. This place is not easy to find but it is worth it. The manager was an excellent help in selecting wine. This is a must visit for drinks and dinner - it could not be a... More

We chose "AOC" because we wanted to have a quick dinner with some good wine. Our expectations were satisfied: we took a wonderful bottle of wine from Souther France (Region of Beziers-Montepellier) and we took a mixed plate with ham&cheese. Plus we took a duo of tapenade (black and green olive sauces). Just few euros over our expectations, but we... More
