Baldy with an attitude

La nourriture était super, mais il y avait un serveur (mince et chauve) qui avait un problème avec nous. Il nous a ignoré pendant toute la soirée, et quand il nous a apporté les plats, il restait silencieux (pas un seul "bon appetite" . Food so good, everyone enjoyed their meal. Cheeses excellent, all the main courses delicious. Cute place, lots of wines and cheeses, but also a full menu- fish, duck, etc. Very local place, and they do not make speaking English easy, but worth going.

Busy little restaurant tucked around the corner from the Place Saint-Pierre! Food was very good, good wine list with reasonable prices. My husband and I had a wonderful time dining here and would return in a heart beat! If you don't have time for dinner, be sure to drop in for a bottle of wine and a charcuterie platter. Cozy... not many options for local food in the very center on Sunday night within an acceptable price. we both had a main course, a glass of wine and shared a dessert: duck was nice, the pork ok (nothing memorable), cake I forgot. service was very good, location is great and atmosphere is nice in the main room

We decided to have our last dinner in Avignon at this restaurant and it was perfect. The atmosphere and the food was wonderful. Great wines and great food. You must have the 'scalloped potato' dish - cheesy and fantastic!

Small, cosy characterful restaurant close to the Cathedral serving a range of food but majoring on heavenly cheesy dips. We ate a a business party of ten and as it was quite late we ordered a range of hot cheeses (included a herby, garlic Camenbert) which came with cold meats and saucison and strangely (in a good way) cracking roast... Of the restaurants we tried in Avignon, this had the best atmosphere. Although we only had drinks and dessert while waiting for the Luminescence show at the Palais du Papes, we wished we'd had more time to linger. I'm not sure if it is a place where locals tend to go, but that was the impression we had- and that's... More

It was tough to find a pretty good restaurant in Avignon, as most places seemed to be tourist traps with mediocre food. This small restaurant is a little tough to find, but worth it if you're looking for a warm, cozy environment. The staff is very friendly and caters to English speaking guests; just show a little respect and attempt... More

the service was pretty mediocre. at the end we had to go to the desk and just keep asking for the check. they just do not staff enough for the amount of people/tables. my chicken with chorizo and comte was very good though.

Too many tables crammed together. No space to move. Chaotic service. Long waits to order. Confiding over orders. No one in charge of specific tables. High prices for a poor quality experience. Unacceptable waiting time. This restaurant cannot cope with a full restaurant.
