I love it when an owner is excited about their food and excited she was! Just seconds after we walked in the door she started passing out samples of ice cream. It was strawberry and usually I am not a fan but it was incredible! I ordered my first strawberry ice cream ever and savored every bite! She challenged us... More

The woman behind La Princiere's creation is a character! We recently sampled the daily "mystery" and were challenged to guess the two flavors. After we all failed the challenge, we were told the flavors were rose and caramel. Then she let us sample the ice cream again to see if we could then identify the flavors. It was a lot... More

I've never eaten such a delicious ice-cream. We were on a trip in Avignon and looking for a Café when we saw this "Glacerie". The very nice owner of the shop gave us the possibility to taste some perfumes so that we could associate the right ones. What a fantastic ice-cream! Home-made without any additives (no ready-made mixtures of fruits... More

a very cute, small business, with seats on the lovely place des Corps-Saints. Veggie and meaty savoury pancakes, perfect for a light lunch or substantial snack. Friendly service, and fantastic icecream too.

While vacationing in France, my husband and I stumbled upon La Princiere in an little corner of Avignon called Little Itally. The owner, a lovely woman who makes the gelato herself, was welcoming and the local patrons raved about her creations. The gelato was amazingly delicious. We will return tomorrow for more before leaving Avignon.

And the people are fantastic. What a welcoming spot on a very picturesque square. We were sorry to leave, but we did clutching some of the best strawberry glaceé we have had.

We had stumbled into La Princiere after it had closed. Even though they were getting ready to close up shop, the welcomed us in and served us with huge smiles on their faces. The gelato was to die for! I had banana-anana (banana and pineapple). It made my entire trip to Avignon worth while!

We live in Avignon so intend to make La Princière a regular treat for our children ... and ourselves. The ice creams and sorbets are all natural, mostly organic and always interesting. Today we tried the super dark chocolate with orange zest, the bitter orange (made from fruit from Nice) and the coconut sorbet. All excellent, served with a smile.... More

Now that I know what ice cream should taste like, I can no longer appreciate inferior ice cream. one hundred percent real products, no added flavors whatsoever. The owner is somewhere between an artist and a magician. She let me taste a tiramisu ice cream that she had just spent the morning inventing. It was like the entire essence of... More

La Princiere makes delicious ice creams and sorbets. They very generously offer taste samples. We were four people, each eating 2 different flavors and everyone was delighted. The strawberry sorbet was to die for – made with fresh strawberries (which were in season). The owner takes great pride in her products and her results are well worth a try. Johanna
