Without doubt the best meal I've ever had in a restaurant. The service was delightful, the wine and company wonderful and nothing will ever surpass the food.

After reading numerous glowing reviews, we were eager to pay a visit to Avignon's Number one rated restaurant, and made a reservation online. Set in a small Rue, off of the main street into the walled city, it was very difficult to find parking. We were greeted by a very friendly proprietress, and promptly seated at our reserved table. We... More

You do have to make a reservation in advance, but well worth planning. Antonia and her husband stagger the reservations so that she can provide excellent service in the front and he can make you a perfect meal. The menu selection is small but varied. The wine excellent and well priced. We enjoyed our meal so much on Friday night... More

Yes, it is named after that kooky "Flight of the Conchords" song but don't let that dissuade you. We had an amazing meal here, from the authentic foie gras to the final chocolate mousse. We would come back here in a heart-beat.

Tried this restaurant based on TA reviews. Service impeccable, food delicious, decor modern and tasteful. Added to our 'must return' list.

When you read a menu, and discover you'd be very happy with absolutely any entrée and any plat principal, you know you're on course to a great meal. This was exactly what happened at Fou de Fafa. Such was the reputation of the restaurant that I booked in January, and I am so glad I did as people were being... More

We arrived at 6.30 as the doors opened and enjoyed having the restaurant to ourselves for about an hour. After that it quickly filled up, so reservations would be recommended. The hostess hails from England and so caters for the non-French speakers perfectly. The food was excellent, being sophisticated but unpretentious. It is evident that the chef is trained through... Great restaurant in Avignon, with a reasonable price for the delicious food you get! I had the duck breast and it was definitely worth it for the price point. The hostess was very accommodating, and helped us with a wine selection. Make sure to make reservations (we e-mailed the restaurant the same day), because the restaurant was full by 8pm.

Average tourist place. Seems poplar with tourists. There are loads of similar in Avignon centre and would advise trying a few.You may discover better ones

I cannot emphasize enough how good both the food and service are here. Being run by a French-British couple, the atmosphere is very intimate and exclusive, and is great for both French and English speaking people. This has definitely earned its top-spot on the TripAdvisor list. Would highly recommend to anyone in Avignon, especially couples looking for a romantic evening.
