My wife and I have been eating in Provence for eight days now, and we can attest with confidence that this is the best meal you will have in Provence. The African owner/chef, who is a one-man show also working the front and answering the phone, shames his French counterparts. The food is utterly fresh, inventive, respectful of French technique,... We had our final meal in Avignon here and our only regret is that we didn't eat here every night of our vacation. Reservations a must. My partner had the foie gras, I had the artichoke "soup". Both were excellent. They defy description, because we aren't fluent enough in french to detail how they were made. Delicious. For the main... More

Fabulous find ,recommended by our hostess. A one man who does the cooking and also the waiting on. Excellent food superbly cooked and presented and reasonably priced.

My wife and I decided to try this small and very unique restaurant on a recommendation. Off the beaten path with a very funky and creative decor. The colours and interesting design are a reflection of the master at work in the kitchen. This talented young man is responsible for everything that happens in the kitchen and out front. We... More

Off the tourist track, inside the walled city, and a favorite with the locals for a special meal. We loved it and found it worthy of an anniversary dinner. Both the food and service were superb. We enjoyed sharing the scallop ceviche, beefsteak with various vegetables, and strawberries with lemon sorbet -- all at a reasonable price. There are only... More

Owner / Chef / waiter does it all & does it very well !!!! Restaurant is small - but great ambience. Food was fantastic - all 4 meals were different & wonderful. Desert - Macaroons were to die for - so we had them both nights. Service was very good & timely. I would definitely recommend !!!!

We called during the afternoon to make a reservation and got no answer. Well, a few hours later, the owner called us back because he saw that he had missed our earlier call. So, we made a reservation for dinner. Now that is service! This is a wonderful French restaurant. You do not need to speak French because you simply... More

Our villa owner recommended this restaurant and we made. Saturday night reservation at 8pm... Well, the restaurant didn't fill until after 9! We were fine with that because it was as if the chef/owner were our private cook and we were in his home. He is head of the house, the only chef in the kitchen, your waiter, and the... More

We read about the restaurant in TA. It sounded good. It was not good, it was truly extraordinary. The chef is an artist with cooking, and with presentation. My wife had the St. Pierre fish plate. She kept telling me how good it was. I had the beef. It was absolutely wonderful. We each had the house wine. My wife... More

We had read the good reviews on Tripadvisor and called to reserve a table. This is not a place you would normally pass by as it is not on the usual tourist route. The interior is very small and modern. The chef was on his own as they had just re-opened after their summer holidays. He was cool and calm... More
