I was very disappointed with our dining experience tonight. We took the menu for 55 euro and the food and ambiance was fantastic. BUT one of your waiters brought cheese selection to our table after the main course and advised us that they are included in our menu. We were surprised and double checked with him that we understood correctly.... More

The four of us had the quite expensive 8-course meal; all at the table must order it which is understandable, considering the order of presentation at a table. Our waiter spoke English with an extremely heavy accent, and either did not know the English words for some of the ingredients or had such a problem with pronunciation that we could... More

We were there as a group of 6 and the restaurant is a little distance from the center of Avignon and need a bit of traveling to get too but it is not too difficult if you drive and has a GPS. We were there early (730 pm) and was little worried when there were no one else there. But... More

this fine restaurant, and old water mill, is well off the beaten track - but very worth visiting; we had the top-price menu - eight courses, in twos, with a glass of wine with each pair; after nibbles, including delicious crab, began with tuna and salmon tartare; then beautiful roast scallops; sea urchin; turbot with razor clams; pigeon breast and... The restaurant gave off pleasant vibes as my friend and I entered. The greeting was friendly, the atmosphere warm, the guests dressed informally. What we originally took as a doorway into another dining room turned out to be a huge mirror that enlarged the small room. The menu consisted of three prix-fixe dinners, at 34, 43 and 54 euros. My... Quite exciting to be sitring at you table on a glass panel, with water rushing under your feet, to remind you that you are in an old water mill! But what you get in your plate is even more exciting: The young chef (one Michelin star) balances with talent refined french gatronomy with Japanese inspiration. It is pure, refined, well... More

Very difficult to find but definitely worth a visit. Food was very well presented with some lovely surprises. As someone watching the cholesterol beware the very french amounts of cream/cream cheese in every dish and emphasis on meat.... not much in the way of fresh vegetables. Service was very good and attentive. Slightly irritating in the way the french interrupt... More
