Very good food, interesting canapes

A good menu attracted us inside. The waiters were very helpful explaining the dishes and obviously enjoyed serving the carefully prepared food. It's best to sit right inside, away from the drainpipe. Nice ambience, nice meal, nice experience.

We made a reservation by phone but, due to my poor French, I misunderstood the time of the reservation and when we arrived at the restaurant the kitchen had already closed. Fortunately, the owners were really kind and reopened the kitchen just for me and my husband. The food was great and the owners were really nice to us, took... More

We came on a Friday night with a reservation for six and had a gorgeous table in the back private room. Marie came in and translated the menu for us in English and we each ordered a starter and main. My risotto with scallops was delicious, with fresh roasted vegetables, huge scallops and flavorful rice. It was actually much more... More

The cuisine by Marie is outstanding! She only uses products fresh from the market, blends in spices that give a unique taste! The cuisine is definitely Provencal and made with art and love. The restaurant is small, located in what seems to have been a 15th century street, vaulted ceilings add to the warm ambiance. Local good wines are available... More

One of the best meals eaten during a month in France. This very special restaurant is hidden away and easily walked past. The hospitality of the head waiter was wonderful and his suggestion of pink champagne was a fabulous drink to begin the meal. Our party all ate different dishes and the subtle fusion of flavours was truely mouthwatering. The... More

The food is delicious. I had the best Petits Farcis ever. The staff is also very friendly. The chef is also very friendly and came inside the main room to talk to each customers.

It is very confusing to see so many positive reviews, the food is average to good but incredibly overpriced. The ingredients are fresh, yes , and from the local market but many other good restaurants in the area use locally sourced produce too. I had a goat's cheese lasagne for 22 euros and avoided wine as the bottles started at... More

Arriving in Avignon by train from Cap d'Agde for an overnight stay before flying home is a regular occurrence for me most years and then I just wonder in to town to find something different and this restaurant is different. Long and thin with the outside tables in a narrow alley you can almost miss it, it was not even... More

We have been traveling through all of France for over a week and in our last stop, Avignon, we found the best food we have encountered throughout our whole trip. To accompany this amazing cuisine, we received the best customer service at this restaurant. Coming from NYC and Miami, the menus in English were also a blessing! This is definitely... More

Reception, seating, service, just everything was great. And the choice of food exception for this part of the world where you get the same stuff every time: innovative, different, fresh. We had the lam and it was equisit! best meal during our one week visit in the Provence.
