I can only endorse the rave reviews of B Woolley who organised the first visit for me and my wife to this wonderful restaurant. Imaginative cuisine with a purpose: to deliver marvellous flavours from great ingredients. The "pintxos" served in the bar before the main event were a delight. I found the service exemplary.

This is the first time I have ever written a second review. I have visited this restaurant several times over the last four years and the cuisine, already at a high level, simply continues to evolve with even greater subtlety, finesse and extraordinary flavours. Dinner last night was exemplary; a delicate red mullet in an asian broth and Camargue beef... More

We celebrated our 30th anniversary lunch here and it was unforgettable! All seven courses were excellent and the Pommes dessert was one of the best desserts that we've ever eaten. We can't wait to go back. Although not inexpensive, by the end of the three hour meal we both felt that the whole experience was a good value. Service was... More

it's allways amazing what j.l.rabanel performes magically onto the plates. the food it's really worth the michelin stars and GM-points. sadly there are some cons: on the wine side, some better quality to go glasswise with the food would be essential. and the service has also some room to improovement.

This is one of the worst experiences I've had in Provence (among more then 10 Michelin restaurants during last trip). A short summery after visiting: Interior - cheap and shocking tawdry (rest and apartments). Food - ambitious, but poor, tasteless and not worth the Michelin star. (no menu or a la carte, but only Surprise menu) Wine - bad choice.... More

Another recommendation by the efficient staff at l'hotel Particulier. Very popular and usually heavily booked we chose to eat at the bistro where most diners were. A short and sharp menu was somewhat underwhelming, leaving us wondering what the hype is about. Nonetheless some lively entertainment was had when the Swiss tourists at the adjoining table most politely noted that... More

From start to finish this was the most amazing dining experience, as I had hoped from its 2 Michelin star rating. I booked online several weeks before and received a prompt reply. The staff were very professional and the restaurant artistic decor and ambience were great. Of course we wanted the chef's choice of dishes (10+ courses - we lost... More

My husband and I participated in the Surprise Menu - about 20 innovative courses over several hours. The pacing was good, but the experience was dampened by the rushed, flustered and sometimes faulty service. There was bumping/hustling among the waitstaff which prevented us from slipping into that easy meal space. Silverware was dropped, a sauce pitcher delivered to our table... More

We love food and have eaten at a number of highly-rated restaurants so there is the risk that we will become somewhat blase. But Chef Rabanel's emotional cooking worked completely. He does mean to elicit surprise and delight and his dishes, colorful and layered with taste, deliver just that. We also welcomed his emphasis on working with vegetables and herbs.... More
