Imaginative food in a relaxed atmosphere

This was our third meal at L'atelier Rabanel and yet again it met or exceeded expectations. We ate the longest of the tasting menus at dinner and found many of the 14 courses both delicious to taste and very pretty on the plate. Perhaps a little less foam would be an improvement as this sometimes... read more

We have eaten here several times and frankly, never been disappointed by a single thing that we ordered, he main reason being that Rabanel is a true French chef in the classic, fiery-eyed, deeply passionate style. His pioneering work on what he calls Greenstronomie, dishes that always include plenty of local vegetable products, pre-dated the now widely adhered to idea... More

We enjoy going to exceptional restaurants around the world, so when planning a recent trip to Provence we were excited to try out this Michelin two star restaurant. My husband is a sommelier and wine educator so we were particularly excited about the wine pairings that are offered. We booked our reservation and planned our whole day around dinner even... More

We were four people that had dinner tonight at L'Atelier de Jean Luc Rabanel. Fabulous cuisine from Jesn Luc Rabanel, with inspiration, flavor and creativity . Deplorable service for a two star restaurant. Domage!

We had great expectations for the evening at L'atelier, but we were disappointed and could not recognize any of the descriptions we read here. The welcome was not very warm at all and during the evening we never had the experience that the waiters liked their guests. Initially they asked us if we would like an aperitif, but they were... We anticipated this meal with joy, having read about it. In the middle of the Feria du Riz, it is a little oasis of reffinement, away from noise and bodegas. We did have a good meal, but we found the maitre d'hotel unattentive and borderline rude. Dommage... Other staff were charming.

Wow - chose between a 9 course or 14 course lunch ! We opted for 9 courses, and wound up with an extra 2 appetizers and an extra 2 dessert treats. We were there about 3 hours, and were very, very full and happy. The food is fantastically creative and delicious. The entire lunch was a real event. We don't... More

We had lunch in the Bistro - two fixed price menus at 31 & 38 Euro - an unbelievable bargain for really top class cooking Flavours and presentation to die for Wine is extra but the restaurant had a wide range of very reasonably priced local wines from 20 - 50 euro a bottle. Note they take only reservations for... More

At first time supposed, not to have table for us... finally we got ut. Wish we wouldn´t have. Not for the food, that was really nice, following the tradition of the best french cousine, but all the rest could have been really much better. It take 2 hour and a half to have dinner: I love slow food but this... More

It is a surprise menu consisting of either 9 courses or 15 course. There were several things that was a surprise to us. There were a lot of "ice-cream" type food. Perhaps it was high summer. There were a lot of dishes... more than the 9 courses we selected. The food was indeed very pretty. We had a 5 year... More
