We arrived without a reservation on a Thursday and they managed to squeeze us in despite being quite full. Our waitress spoke excellent English and the service was very good. We went for the three course menu, a bargain at 27 euros and the food was great. One of the best meals we have ever had and if we were... More

We arrived at Le Criquet on a Saturday evening without a reservation; however we were accommodated easily as we arrived at 19:00. By the time we left, it was full. We had a great experience, with very friendly, helpful service. We intended to just have the two-course menu (€23); but once we saw the desserts we knew we would have... More

Le Criquet is a family affair and the 'home feel' is evident as soon as you walk in the door. The meals are good and well presented, at a price that is very reasonable. The service is fast and efficient, taking just enough time to be convivial and chatty [even if you speak English]. We will check their menus for... More

The whole experience was amazing. The food was exceptional and the atmosphere and service outstanding. This family run restaurant deserves it's number 1 rating as it was definately the best food we had in Arles.

The restaurant has a certain charm and is centrally located. The dining room was boiling hot in September with no windows open. We ordered a bull stew that was so over-salted we were drinking water in the bathroom all night. The server was cold but professional.

Located practically next door to our hotel this restaurant was a pleasant surprise. The food was superb and deserts delightful. The staff was very friendly and English speaking. We ordered desert that turned out to be one of our most delicious. Memorable experience I recommend to all

Audrey, at Le Calendal, suggested and call in reservations for us at Le Criquet. Wow, was the food good! Everything from the bread rubbed with garlic, to the salads, to the seafood pot was top quality. The service could not have been better and the atmosphere was electric. Our waitress even told us that service was included-it was so good,... More

We had a birthday dinner in Le Criquet and everything was spot on from the starters to desserts including delicious traditional spirit Pastis. The service was friendly, helpful but not intrusive, menu had amazing choice including specials of the day. We would come again and chose it for both casual dining and special occasions. The prices were reasonable for the quality... More
