Sometimes the top-rated restaurants on TripAdvisor are disappointing, but not this one. It is run by a very hardworking family with the parents in the kitchen and the daughters taking orders and serving. The prices are reasonable for a tourist destination like Arles, food is good with fresh ingredients freshly cooked. It is not haute cuisine, it is very tasty... More

For our last night in Arles, we went to Le Criquet. The staff were friendly, welcoming and helpful. We had the eggplant terrine and carpaccio for entree , duck and fish for main course, and the tasting plate for dessert. All were beautifully presented and sooooo tasty. The wine that was recommended complemented the meal very well. Highly recommended

Four of us had dinner here a couple of nights ago, and what deliciousness ! Between us we had the duck, the special fish soup, octopus and squid dishes. Everything was absolutely spot on: simple, home-made dishes cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself is very cute, nice decor and good ambience: they have tables outside but I think inside is... Le Criquet is a small restaurant a few doors away from The Calendral Hotel above the amphitheatre. The service is excellent, the food is excellent, the atmosphere is excellent and the prices are reasonable. It's very popular. If you don't have a reservation, you might get in if you show up right when they open for dinner at 19:00. Next... More

We tried having lunch at this place and when we arrived at 1:50pm, one of the servers told us (with a very unpleasant face) that they were closed. Really? Closed at 1:50pm? I have traveled to 36 countries and dozens of cities and small towns around the world and never, ever had I seen a restaurant that serves lunch from... More

Please plan ahead and make an advance reservation to avoid missing out on this charming little gem! The staff are amazing - super friendly, efficient, welcoming. The food is delicious, fresh, rustic, exquisite, generous....yum yum yum. Great wine, too. It is very close to the amphitheatre, so quite central and easy to find. We loved this place!

The service was excellent and the food choices were amazing! I would defiantly say this is the best place me and my family have eaten in Arles. And would recommend this restaurant to anybody who is going to Arles. My family and I ate there two times during are stay and the service was great each time I now know... More

The difference between who try to do something and who is a professionist. I'll see. Thanks to Lily and Charlotte. I hope will see again. Ciao Marco

The food is amazing at this restaurant. I highly recommend the fish soup. Excellent!!! The service is also wonderful and if you can and the weather is nice, try to sit outside. Great atmosphere.
