The food is amazing at this restaurant. I highly recommend the fish soup. Excellent!!! The service is also wonderful and if you can and the weather is nice, try to sit outside. Great atmosphere.

This restaurant has been the highlight of our trip so far. We made a reservation as we were walking by the day before, which was cheerfully taken by the girl who seems to take care of most of the reservations and service. I had the specialty, la bourride, and my husband had the three course menu of octopus, sea bream,... More

I went here because of the excellent reviews on Trip Advisor and as it was just round the corner from my hotel. This is a small family run restaurant. The atmosphere, service and food are excellent. I had artichokes stuffed with goats cheese as a starter and a dorada served with shell fish as a main and both were perfect.... More

For the perfect lunch experience while visiting Arles, look no further than Le Criquet. Located a short walk from the historic Amphitheatre, Le Criquet serves genuine Provencal fare in a quaint, pretty, hospitable environment. The great food is only enhanced by the wonderful service courtesy of the owner's daughters. In a region known for its culinary delights, Le Criquet was... More

Amazingly sweet little place. Calm and lovely with interesting offerings. (And with two of the sweetest and most beautiful young women in the world running it. And, their dad is their chef! WOW!) One night, they even had a special that was made only with vegetables: our vegetarian was delighted! All the food was fresh, imaginative and most important... delicious.... More

We had stopped in Arles to specifically take the Van Gogh Walk; however, we discovered (courtesy of the TI) that there no longer any maps in English. So, being hungry, we decided to have lunch instead. Great choice as this is a lovely place, food delicious, service impeccable, all in a friendly, inviting atmosphere. Highly recommend.

The head waitress was very warm, efficient, informative, and (why not) pretty. She had a friendly and efficient helper. The ambiance is an old stone restaurant and is very pleasant. All the food was very good to outstanding. Of particular note was the baby octopus salad. We were a party of 6 and each ordered something different and were all... More

Read the reviews and walked from our hotel to make reservations for that evening. Glad we did. We had reservations for 7:30 and by 8 there was a sign on the door that they were full for the night. Atmosphere is positively charming and the food is delicious. I had the eggplant terrine while my husband enjoyed the fish soup... More

Well I can understand why this is rated as the number 1 restaurant in Arles as it was outstanding. Every course was well thought out and the flavours of the various components were terrific and the combinations made each plate a delight to eat. The sisters who provided the front of house services were extremely efficient and very friendly but... More
