Amazing

Just go -- this place was incredible -- an iconic passionate place in a sea of tourist traps -- on of the best meals we have ever had.

First, the service was magnificent. Our waiter, who spoke English better than he would admit, carefully explained the menu options and was very helpful to my wife who has a gluten intolerance. The food was fresh, simple and delicious. The lunch menu, only 22€ was very reasonable for the quality and quantity of food. The dishes were stunning; southern French... More

Went there for lunch on Sunday and based in the reviews on trip advisor we were looking forward to it. Unfortunately the restaurant had ran out of food.... And we had to look elsewhere. Tip to go early I guess!

住的小酒店老板强烈推荐的餐厅 说他们自己经常来吃。果然不错, 老板英文很好很耐心 会一道道解释他们的菜式 羊肉 鸭肉都很不错 骨髓配面包有点肥但有特色 highly recommended by our local hotel owners, and it is a nice place, owner speaks good English and is very nice and patient in explaining every dish.

You need a reservation at this small place and it is well worth it. The owner/manager explains every dish, source, method of cooking. His English is excellent and he is passionate about the food. We sat outside on a peaceful street and it was one of the highlights of our many great meals in southern France!

The food of this restaurant is superb--I'll get to that. But the enthusiasm of the owner, who also was the waiter, and his desire that each of us understand what we were ordering and why it had the sauces or companions it did, are what were the standouts for me. He was so careful about what food he served, and... More

I ate lunch: two courses, each approximating a dream of home cooking. Filling, too. I haven't eaten this well since Naples. And the recommended wine was spot on. Service was relaxed and attentive. I'd eat here again. And again and again and...

This restaurant is a delight. The food is hearty, delicious, and inventively prepared, worth a solid four point five stars. However when you add to it the outstanding, personalized, welcoming service and atmosphere it easily becomes a five! I had the slow cooked lamb and it cut with a fork. Superb! If you are looking for great food, and a... More

We popped into this tiny place without a reservation but were quickly accommodated. The front of the house is managed by one of the owners and he was extremely helpful, maybe a little over the top. However, his partner runs a great kitchen, amazingly almost by herself. The décor is funky but welcoming. The food was the star of the... More

We wanted authentic French food and found it here. However, we weren't interested in pates, tartares, and seafood dishes, so that limited our menu choices. A duck Rossini (ground duck) was good, but not great. The legumes tartare (raw chopped vegetables) were good and were served with an interesting herbal ice cream. Today's flavor was rosemary! The food presentation is... More
