Dining delight

Right in the middle of the old town of Arles is this charming little restaurant with cosy appeal. Great menu with Spanish influence and large plates of freshly produced food ensures a good dining experience. The staff are very attentive. Book to avoid dissapointment as there are not so many tables.

There are plenty of restaurants around the Place de Forum, many is which offer the usual fare. Querida is a bit different adding a Spanish twist and whilst this is not a Spanish tapas bar it does offer some lovely food influenced by Spanish cuisine. We had a very tasty and filling chicken dish served with baked new potatoes and... More

We went here twice during our five day stay in Arles, and both times had excellent meals and friendly service. The first time we had mixed tapas to share as a starter, which had really tasty mini chorizos on it and very fresh gazpacho among other yummy things. The tartare de boeuf was delicious. Their viande du moment obviously depends... More

We found this restaurant, tucked away in the small old streets in Arles. Initially, we weren't too keen on going in, as the entrance is located up quite a few steps. This is important, as one of our party uses a wheelchair. Before we had properly made our mind up, though, the owner, a very friendly local young gentleman opened... More

We were looking for another restaurant on the same street (which, in the event, was closed) when we stumbled upon this small unadorned place, invited in by its cosy, covered side terrace and sparse tables. Decor was simple but tasteful and throughout our lunch, we noticed that the place was being frequented by lots of locals, mainly in the indoors... More

Located just aside of the famous but overly toursitical "place du Forum", this little restaurant is a great place to have lunch or dinner. Its spannish cuisine is excellent, especially its "poule crémeuse" (chicken breast cooked with cream and chorizo) and its "camembert rôti" (a melted camembert cheese... sooo goood !)... and don't forget their deserts, especially the "pain perdu"...

This is a tiny restaurant that concentrates on serving great food. Everything we had there, from appetizer to desert, was just excellent. Server is great, smiling, has a lovely provencal accent, and his goal is that you have a great time in his restaurant. Nothing else to add - one of the 2 bests restaurants we visited in Arles. I... We ate lunch here in late September 2014. During a two-week, multi-city stay in Provence, this was one of the most memorable meals we had. The restaurant is intimate, with a small amount of outdoor seating in a space shaped like an alley and, as we remember it, surrounded in plant life. Our waiter was super friendly, and eager to... We had a wonderful evening at this small and intimate restaurant. It was a beautiful evening so we sat out in the entry way where they have tables on each of the stairs leading to the restaurant. The owner and waiter did not speak English but he worked very hard to help us. The other guests were also very helpful... More

We stumbled upon Querida and were intrigued by its quaint patio and Spanish inspired menu. Were we ever glad we stopped for lunch! The dishes were interesting, flavourful, fresh, and good value. I ordered the tarte special and my husband had the <<poule cremeuse>> (chicken in a cream sauce with chorizo and manchego cheese). Both were fantastic. The sangia was... More
