This restaurant is highly underrated! The food is incredibly creative with intersting and delicious combinations of flavour in every dish! I started with a mackerel glazed with balsamic which was one of the best starters I have ever eaten, followed by a beautifully cooked steak of tuna with a vast combination of vegetables and purées! For dessert, me and my... More

I ate here with my husband while on honeymoon. The owner was really friendly and the atmosphere was lovely and romantic. I had the prawns to start and the tuna as a main. Highly recommend both. The tuna was particularly fabulous. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

The restaurant is rather simple but with a nice "terasse" on a quiet street. The food is very " nouvelle cuisine", with fresh and tasty products And, over all, the people there are just charming!

We really enjoyed the 39 Euro lunch menu at L'autruche. It was the best lunch we have ever had in Arles in our 4 visits. There are a lot of tourist places around so if you want serious food in Arles I suggest you try this one. They have a serious chef and we enjoyed every bite. Their "house "... More

Traveling to France (Arles) from Singapore, having the chance to dine at this restaurant is simply great! For Starter I had the half cooked tuna. And for the main... Duck. Superb presentation that is so nice you might want to lock it up for viewing but absolutely tasty that you had to eat it!

Such a surprise. We walked off the tourist traps into the alley way and "voila" we hit upon this place for lunch. The steak with foie gras was amazing. We even came back the next night for dinner. Its not silver service but the staff are just lovely and speak perfect English. I will definitely go back when next passing... More

During our one night stay in the city of Arles, we were recommended this restaurant your hotel and have been so happy of the place. The food is really, really delicious, exquisite, well cokked, fresh ingredients, nothing to do with the usual tousistic places. Here it is french gastronomy in all its art. We have enjoyed a real pleasant experience,... More

One of the best meals we had in France- I'd say even better than a Michelin starred restaurant we went to. And very nice, English-speaking waiter, which is not a must but is helpful since we spoke limited French. The desserts are out of this world. This is definitely the most beautiful food I've ever eaten- everything is artfully plated... More

Chef Antoine is a true professional. This small and intimate restaurant is simply the best in Arles. Forget the Michelin starred joint around the corner. Ask for outside seating and be prepared for a spectacular meal, at a very reasonable price. At our last visit, we had the daily special of a seared tuna appetizer, followed by a pork tenderloin...
