Traveling to France (Arles) from Singapore, having the chance to dine at this restaurant is simply great! For Starter I had the half cooked tuna. And for the main... Duck. Superb presentation that is so nice you might want to lock it up for viewing but absolutely tasty that you had to eat it!

Such a surprise. We walked off the tourist traps into the alley way and "voila" we hit upon this place for lunch. The steak with foie gras was amazing. We even came back the next night for dinner. Its not silver service but the staff are just lovely and speak perfect English. I will definitely go back when next passing... More

During our one night stay in the city of Arles, we were recommended this restaurant your hotel and have been so happy of the place. The food is really, really delicious, exquisite, well cokked, fresh ingredients, nothing to do with the usual tousistic places. Here it is french gastronomy in all its art. We have enjoyed a real pleasant experience,... More

One of the best meals we had in France- I'd say even better than a Michelin starred restaurant we went to. And very nice, English-speaking waiter, which is not a must but is helpful since we spoke limited French. The desserts are out of this world. This is definitely the most beautiful food I've ever eaten- everything is artfully plated... More

Chef Antoine is a true professional. This small and intimate restaurant is simply the best in Arles. Forget the Michelin starred joint around the corner. Ask for outside seating and be prepared for a spectacular meal, at a very reasonable price. At our last visit, we had the daily special of a seared tuna appetizer, followed by a pork tenderloin... After a number of very average meals, it was a relief to find L'Autruche. It's tucked away in a side street and isn't that impressive on first viewing. This was our best meal in Arles, as it turned out, and we'd be delighted to return. There's a short menu of entrees, mains and deserts. All the ones we tried were... More

We enjoyed our meal at L'autruche. This tiny, family run restaurant has very attentive service and excellent food. It is more expensive than nearby restaurants but worth the extra expense for a special night out. The menu changes daily and the chef offers three or four choices in terms of fish, meat, etc. depending on what fresh foods are available.... More

We found this restaurant in the Michelin and were not disappointed. The set menu at 39 euros was outstanding, pairing unusual tastse with great finesse and imagination. We were so impressed we asked to personally thank the chef afterwards. the owner is charming too. highly recommended
