This is a fabulous restaurant and i had the best tuna I have ever tasted. We were lucky to get a table as we hadn't booked. The owner started to turn people away about 10 minutes later as the restaurant was fully booked.

Run by a relatively young couple with no apparent assistance L'Ecrin can seem a little hectic when full, especially when the waitress has little English and uses her smart phone to translate the menu when required! It really is worth the effort. We had one of our best meals here in a week in Provence. Highlights were a substantial baked... More

We dined at this lovely restaurant last night on the advice of our walking tour guide ( WALKINN Provence ) .we were a big group of 12 ,non French speaking , and I think this created much anxiety for the gorgeous young lady who was the only waitress on duty .ordering was very confusing and it was a considerable delay... We weren't sure where to dine in Arles but eventually settled for L'Ecrin for our one and only night in the city. We certainly didn't regret it. Unfortunately it had rained in the afternoon so they had closed the patio but reserved a nice space inside just by the entrance. The restaurant is handily located just a stride or two... More

I was puzzled As only two tables occupied as we ate so well, a lovely meal and lovely hosts - the owner. we went there on a busy evening after wandering the more central roads, with restaurants busy. L'ecrin was quiet but had the best meal of a long holiday - the lamb was so delicious one of my kids... More

My husband and I had lunch here on our July 24 visit to Arles. It is less 'touristy' than the cafes near the souvenir shops. My husband had delicious pork medallions with a sauce, vegetables dessert etc. I had the fish which was excellent - with a tomato sauce and regional vegetables as well as dessert. a carafe of white... If you are going for dinner in Arles, you must try L'Ecrin. They are closed Tuesdays and Wednesday so plan accordingly and I would recommend reservations. Also good as they are open on Sundays and Mondays when other restaurants are not. The food is gourmet and the service is excellent. Also loved sitting outside and looking out on the Arles... More

This is a casual restaurant with serious French food and a full view of the illuminated Roman arena. The waitress was very warm and helpful. She is also clearly proud of the food they serve in a good way. All the dishes our party of 6 had were excellent. They have several prix fixe menus plus a good range of... More

This restaurant is not a pizzeria but a gourmet restaurant serving high quality and very well-priced food as part of a menu. For around 20 euros we had three courses of fabulous food.
