We were looking for something new in Arles on this day, but fate had us shaking off one spot after another until we just resigned ourselves to Les Filles du 16. It almost sounds like an insult to the establishment. Between... More

We just had the loop with vegetables and dessert and they were great! Our waitress was absolutely the best and added so much to the experience.

Excellent location, great food, from a small tasty menu. Duck in honey was delicious. reasonably priced and located right in the heart of Arles.

My wife and left Avignon that morning and had traveled to the Pont du Gard and Nimes before landing in Arles. We finally found a parking spot (no easy task in Arles) and did some sightseeing. We made it to Le16 a little before 7pm (their official time for opening). We were seated in the interior portion of the restaurant... More

Our hairdresser when we were visiting Arles recommended 3 restaurants, one alongside L16 and another too close to the tourist square, where we had eaten the previous evening - typical tourist French food. The restaurant adjoining L16 was possibly higher up the scale and so were the staff so we left and went to L16 - pleasant staff - lovely... More

In my last review of this restaurant, I announced that they were closing for a make-over. They completed their work and reopened in the second week of March. Today we returned for an inaugural lunch in their new digs. We were most pleased to receive the quality recettes and presentations we are so fond of, and the changes are pleasing,... More

We enjoyed yet another fine lunch here recently, but our coffees came with discomforting news. The restaurant would be closed for a couple of months ! The ownership and management is being handed off to the next generation, though they have been running the day-to-day for some time, now. The youth have decided to upgrade things -- just a tad,... Recommended by a guide book and well worth stopping in. Solid French cooking and not aimed at what tourists may want to eat or think of as French food. Small menu of 4-5 selections plus daily specials. 2-3course menu options at €23 and €27 good value. We had the soup of the day which was excellent and the rabbit in... More

Loved the menu of the day for 15 euros allowing for an authentic taste of local products to include the faisselle served up as a savoury dish with a beautiful bouquet of fresh herbs and delightful cream to get the taste buds flowing. I then had a chicken cooked up in curry and the most delightful vegetables. Value for money... More
