We enjoyed yet another fine lunch here recently, but our coffees came with discomforting news. The restaurant would be closed for a couple of months ! The ownership and management is being handed off to the next generation, though they have been running the day-to-day for some time, now. The youth have decided to upgrade things -- just a tad,... Enjoyed one of our nicest meals in Arles here.very well prepared French cuisine, everything in good balance and harmony portions were nice sizes, and still let you leave satisfied but not stuffed.

Recommended by a guide book and well worth stopping in. Solid French cooking and not aimed at what tourists may want to eat or think of as French food. Small menu of 4-5 selections plus daily specials. 2-3course menu options at €23 and €27 good value. We had the soup of the day which was excellent and the rabbit in... More

Loved the menu of the day for 15 euros allowing for an authentic taste of local products to include the faisselle served up as a savoury dish with a beautiful bouquet of fresh herbs and delightful cream to get the taste buds flowing. I then had a chicken cooked up in curry and the most delightful vegetables. Value for money... More

Disappointed not to get in the first night in Arles (having seen the menu) without a reservation, we immediately booked for the following night. And it was most definitely worth going back for. Delicious good, attentive service and good prices. Ambience delightful. We wandered around the old town after leaving the restaurant feeling comfortably fed and happy. Would definitely go... More

Nine years ago we had a lunch and then a dinner at Le 16. This year we returned to Arles and dined there once again twice. In fact when our son joined us for the week we had to take him to Le 16 for dinner. The entrees and plates were delicious and memorable. The bull stew and potato, the... More

Once again we had lunch at this quaint little restaurant. Once again we found ourselves well served, well fed, and well received. That last one means that when you arrive late without reservations, they ask the chef if he will accommodate you. If you are awaiting the arrival of others, they seat you and take orders as you wish. They... More

Recommended by hotel and food did not disappoint. Opted for the 23 euro firmule of entree and plat. Salmon and giar cheese starters followed NY duck and a seafood stew. All delicious. Service was just OK. A good value.
