This is honestly one of the most amazing culinary experiences we've had on our trip to Europe. Everything Ariane and her team here do is farm-to-table. The atmosphere is local, relaxed and so inviting. The staff is warm and friendly.

I know Chez Ariane is known as a wine bar but the food is excellent. We enjoyed quiche with jambon, gratin pomme de terre and warm chocolate cake with ice cream. We sat at one of the outside tables early in the evening, so we could people watch. Chez Ariane was a Rick Steves' recommendation. Sadly, Ariane was not in... More

Chez Ariane is a bar a vins. Food is served but nothing flask. The chacuterie was excellent and the gratin a pommes de terre was filling. Interesting mix of local clientale from all age groups. Good wine by the glass. I specially found the Cote du Rhone Red very palatable. Good setting but relatively small inside. Great atmosphere. Opens after... More

My husband and I were supposed to stay two nights in Arles but we ended up staying two weeks as we loved it so much. We were at Chez Ariane almost every night after dinner hanging out with the local friends we made while staying. They have great wines and simple but good dishes such as charcuterie and cheese platters.... More

We stopped in here based on a recommendation in Rick Steves' book. What a find. It was after the heavy tourist season so we had the place to ourselves until the locals showed up. After dinner we moved to the bar and felt part of the conversation, even though we speak and understand very little French. This is a place... More

We actually didn't eat at the Ariane's but had only a drink. The staff was really helpful and super polite, the location and interior well chosen and charming. Getting to talk to the guests, they all seemed happy about their choice – especially about the food. We'll try it next time.

I have acid reflux, so eating non spicy is a challenge. I thought I was in heaven when I found Chez Ariane. I like the quiche enormously. Omelet too.

It's not a real restaurant but a 'bistrot au vin' so you can choose from a list of not so many dishes but interesting. Good selection of french quiches. From our side, we had a dinner and we enjoyed it. We drunk 'vin du pays' and it was good. Each of us found out it's dish, included our 10 years... More
