I saw this restaurant from my hotel balcony and was enthralled by the location - the café being a feature of a Van Gogh painting. One of the worst food of Europe, and my life. Carrot salade from a can? That should say it all, the only fresh food was a couple of leaves of lettice. Adding the awful food to the terribly slow service it ruined the experience of been on the foots steps of Van Gogh and the wonderful Arles. more

Visited the restaurant on Monday evening 6 October 2008. The location is superb and the restaurant was actually a feature of a painting by Van Gogh. My wife and I both had chicken which was one of the meals of the day. The service was very slow, even though the restaurant was not very busy. The chicken was extremely dry... more
