The coffees were overpriced. We asked if we can order warm food which was declined however people that arrived after us were given warm food. It was the absolute low point of our France trip.

Is this café/restaurant trying to win the prize for the worst place in Provence? If so, it’s won the prize. Made our choice to eat there because a nice hostess was out front almost directing passer bys to take a table. We fell into the trap and decided to take lunch there (difficult to say no to a pretty face!).... More

All the TA recommended restaurants we wanted to visit weren't open when 3 of us went to Arles on a sunny Thursday in November for lunch. The terrace outside Le cafe La Nuit is a bit shabby chic with very heavy chairs and everything has a run down feel, but we ordered starters and main courses from the fixed 14.50... More

Our waiter was sloppy and couldn't care less about customer service. One waitress was standing out the front having a cigarette totally ignoring hungry customers. Finally when our wine and sparkling water arrived they arrived without glasses. We eventually had to take from another table. The food that was ordered took ages to appear and then when it finally arrived... More

Bright lights were OK since it was the "scene" aspect but waiter ignored us. Finally took our order and then did not bring it. He asked if we wanted coffee and we reminded him we hadn't had our entre yet. Took another 30 minutes. Asked for water, several times. Finally he brought a pitcher but no glasses. We asked for... The restaurant is located in a busy square with lots of restaurants to choose from. This place had available outside seating so this was the primary reason we chose it. The outdoor area was nice and inside was pretty nice. The food (croque monsieur, paella, croque madame, and spaghetti Bolognese) we all ok - just ok. The service was ok... More

When in Arles, one should visit the Place du Forum for a host of reasons; but eating at this establishment might well not be a top reason. That said, it is a quaint fabrication of the cafe made famous in Vincent van Gogh's painting.

Tourist Trap. Avoid this restaurant. The place is unsanitary, the food is overpriced and of poor quality. As for drinks we regrettably had to pay EUR 6.50 for a glass of coke..it's day light robbery. A real shame that a venue made famous by Van Gogh was used to rip off customers in such a bad way..

While our food (lunch) was fairly good, we paid quite a bit extra for sitting at this restaurant. Using the Van Gogh theme, it is really a tourist trap with slow service. Unfortunately we were also treated to the noise of power washing on the building next door as well as the delivery of furniture nearby. We would have been... More

This whole place is gross! Tables, seats, everything is dirty. There was a looooooong hair tangled in my salad. They don't accept cards, some of the worse service I have had. Simply a terrible experience, DO NOT EAT HERE!
