Good food and value for money

Lovely ambiance, great food and good service. The menu had a large emphasis on duck, normally not on my radar but it was beautiful. Deserts were great - pistachio creme brûlée ......

we walked by this restaurant a number of times, and ended up dining there. Great choice. The foie gras was superb-just wish I had had more, Chicken special was also wonderful. English menu, at least part of it. And, as the menu pointed out, the restaurant was the first in Aix to not allow smoking. Unbelievable in a city/country in... More

We randomly stumbled upon this little gem whilst trying to find an open place on a Sunday night. Every single dish was spectacular and great for it's value. A big 3-course menu is €21 consisting of many dishes to choose from. I went for the foie gras salad as an entrée (which was huge and tasted great). Main course was... More

What a great little gem. Fantastic food and service and very reasonably price - €75 for 3 cources, drinks and coffee. We did share entree and dessert although this is recommended as generous. The meals were fantastic and the dessert of Charlotte au Framboise was superb. We loved it so much we might go back tomorrow!

What a great restaurant in Aix-en-Provence. Quirky setting with bright paintings and cute decor, lovely open air courtyard to enjoy a wonderful night. On our last Sunday night here we indulged in a duck extravaganza - starting with a shared Tourtou Canard, buckwheat crepe stuffed with duck, beef and shallots with melted gruyère and salad. Then on to duck breast... More

We had a three course menu for two and a bottle of local Coteaux d'Aix for 80€ and we were delighted with the quality/price coefficient. It was a busy lunchtime and the place was quite full, but everything was prompt, courteous and good humoured. They have delicious gourmet salads to start with and the mains are very cuisine landaise oriented... More

OK, if "Cassoulet" and "Confit" are on your prescribed diet to fight gloomy days, this is your special place in Aix en Provence. no nonsense, just the original great ways to cook Duck in all's its form. their Cassoulet is to die for. Toulouse sausage, mixed with beans and duck leg, served in a hot pot,....I can't write more as... More

I always wanted to try this place while living in Aix, but had never had the chance. On a short visit, however, I was convinced by one of my French friends to try it out and was not disappointed. The atmosphere was nice and homey, though seeing as it was cold and the courtyard was closed, it was slightly disappointing.... More
