A real find in Aix. Very popular with well heeled locals. The inside of the restaurant is pleasant, but in Summer you will want to sit outside on the terrace. Excellent food, fantastic presentation. Book, enjoy. Be pampered.

My husband and I went to Mitch on our first night of our vacation to France, and we were so glad we did. The food was excellent, the location is perfectly situated in Old Town, and the staff was knowledgeable and helpful. The owner Mitch, even sat down with us, spoke to us about the local attractions, wine and where... More

We love Mitch. Always the first place for dinner when we stay in Aix. Not fine dining, but good solid and importantly well-cooked food. Mitch himself is always very friendly and helpful, and very much makes you feel at home. A definite recommend.

Our hotel directed us to this restaurant in the old town. We had bookings and that is just as well as it was busy. From the outset we were made welcome by Mitch. He and his assistant provided flawless service and assistance with the menu and wine choice. All in all it was a very good experience. The food was... More

We had our anniversary dinner at Mitch in June during a visit to Provence. The food, service and ambiance were all excellent. It is pricey, about $200 for dinner for two with a bottle of wine. Also, the presentation is really something. Prettiest meal I ever had.

The food was good but not exceptional in any way. If it had been half the price i would have been happy with but at almost $200 for 3 people ( only one bottle of wine) I expected more.

My husband and I felt lucky to get a reservation at Mitch. The food tasted wonderful. Each dish blended flavors in unique and delicious ways. Plus, they were presented beautifully. I added a few photos of the food that will make your mouth water! Mitch recommended a house wine that paired very well with our meals, too. Plus, he chatted... More

We had been given a recommendation for a fine restaurant by our innkeeper and were warned that it would be a lot better off to park outside of the old city of Aix. The restaurant was Mitch. Sounded very "unFrench", but she swore we would love the place. So, off we went with her warning not to go in the... More

We had read some reviews on trip advisor re another restaurant recommending Mitch. During our travels through Spain and France over the past 4 weeks, we found this restaurant last night to have been at the top of our list. the food was exquisite, from the complimentary gazpacho and tapenade on a crostini. we shared as an entree the foie...
