Plan on spending a while

We went early and didn't have a problem getting seated. While we only found a couple of choices on the menu, we found a good variety. The food was delicious and the presentation was awesome. The service was a bit slow considering how many people were there. Our desserts took over 30 minutes to come... read more

We were referred to the restaurant by a the owner of a touring service we used, and the meal was the best we had while we stayed in Aix. The service was attentive and helpful, the food was beautifully presented and the tastes were excellent. There is an amazing painting in the restaurant supposedly of Bob Marley, but looks very... The restaurant was quite busy on the Friday evening that we visited and having just arrived in Aix, we did not have a reservation. The staff were really helpful and found us a table. Service was excellent - very friendly, very efficient, with each waiter spending time to explain our choices and then, on serving our food, explaining each component.... More

We stayed in Aix en Provence for a few days. The city is wonderful and the food is quite good if you leave the touristic roads a bit. Mitch is the best restaurant we went to. The food is really great and the staff makes you feel welcome. We had the fish of the day and the salmon as a... More

In the middle of the interesting old town a fine dining experience. All food is prepared in house and is light, delicate and a treat both for the eye and the taste buds. Not the cheapest meal we had during our stay in Aix but one of the most memorable and worth the cost.

We ate twice in the past month while in aix en Provence. What a great meal. Great service, beautiful presentations of every course and outstanding food. All at a reasonable price. What more could you ask. Don't miss this restaurant if you're in aix. The duck was phenomenal. The desserts were out of this world. And Mitch was there to... More

First night in this wonderful city. Enjoyed dinner which included starters, two entrees, two desserts plus bottle of wine for two with total cost 123 Euros. I had sea bass and wife duck. Both delicious. Desserts included tart plus chocolate covered pear. Staff fluent in English and excellent recommendations re food and wine. Look forward to return

My wife and I had a great dinner. The food was excellent and the service was perfect. The owner chose a nice wine for the dinner that was reasonably priced. We ate at several other similarly priced restaurants during our visit and this was simply the best.

Went for dinner to Mitchs. Sat outside which was a nice experience watching the world go by as you dine. The owner and all staff are very pleasant and very customer focussed. I found all the service providers In Aix very friendly and warm people in general. We found the food at Mitchs very average, I had beef which was... More

My wife has now had the pleasure of eating at Mitch for the fourth time, however, it was my first experience. The food was excellent and demonstrated both imagination and the strong pride of the chef, wait staff and proprietor, Mitch, in this excellent restaurant. It makes such a difference to the enjoyment of the experience to have the polite... More
