Lebanese delicacies

this relatively new restaurant on the food panorama in Aix-en-Provence deserves all the praise it gets. The names of the dishes may be the same as in other, more industrial places but food here is hand prepared and it does taste good.

On a dark, cold, rainy night in June, we thankfully found this restaurant with a convenient parking lot right in front! Even though they said the tables were reserved, (the South of France is notorious for turning away customers when they are booked!!), they kindly seated us. The lavender lighted atmosphere was quite calming and the server very personable. We... More

I am continuously amazed at the fact that mediocre restaurants get high marks on trip advisor. The lamb was poor quailty and overlooked, and the appetizers ordinary. Who are you people who loved this place? I am getting a little tired of these erroneous and overblown reviews.

We visited this restaurant last year and loved the authentic Lebanese food and the excellent service. We returned to find it unchanged. Still very good quality food and personal interest on the part of the waiter. Brilliant value.

Very flavorful dishes with a backdrop of a well done interior design. My table really enjoyed the kabobs/skewers of all meats, but especially the chicken. The hummus and tabouli appetizers were good, too. We also shared the vegetarian sampler entree which was tasty and a great way to try a bunch of different options. Very friendly staff, too. Not being... More

The chicken skewers were out of this world! Highly reccommend, slightly pricey but 100% worth it. The carrots and rice were also cooked amazingly, we would love to get a recipe! If you're in Aix, make time for Beyrit's.

My husband and I had a lovely time over dinner. The atmosphere is rather romantic with dim purple lights. The mixed mezze plate and lamb dishes tasted real fresh and authentic. The gentleman who was managing the room on his own seem to really understand my gluten allergy and when asked, kindly prepared carrots and cucumber sticks to eat the... More

Why this restaurant is only 25th in Aix? We had lunch there and it was delicious, the service was excellent. It was a lovely change to have something different. We had the set menu Beyrit would recommend it. Cannot rate this restaurant enough.

Busy market day in Aix, but we had a nice table for lunch in this Lebanese restaurant. Décor is very individual, but all furnishings (including toilets) to a very high standard. Wide choice of dishes, and the restaurateur went out of his way to adapt to vegan requirements. Satisfying meal, good wine and coffee.

Ate lunch here on 26 Aug. Booked via Tripadvisor, Beyrit's is a good option if you're looking for a change from traditional French cooking. The middle eastern menu offers both individual portions and selection plates. All were tasty and well spiced. The chicken skewers are recommended. We ate inside (the street terrace is taken over by the market on Tuesdays)... More
