Great food, great place

Recommended the restaurant by the hotel, hidden in a housing estate we would have never have found it otherwise. Great snazzy but chilled atmosphere, staff were helpful and could have a joke with them & food was delicious. All round good evening, Highly recommend this restaurant.

Good food, trying to show some flair, but I was just not that impressed - many people do it better. I guess I am a little spoiled. I found that my pork dish was just a little too sweet - could have done with some balancing saltiness or sourness. That said, my husband loved his dinner, and the wine was... More

Hidden away in residential neighborhood - it's a little adventure to finally arrive at this little paradise. Must be lovely in summer. But we were enthralled. Greeted very warmly upon our arrival and we felt at home the entire time. But more importantly THE FOOD WAS GREAT. I was tempted by the lobster gratinée ... But opted for the lighter... More

This is my second year living in Aix and I was so relieved to finally find a really decent restaurant. It's just out of the centre - and I take this as a good sign - they can't rely on passing tourist trade but instead have a loyal local working crowd. Midweek it is full of business lunches. Food is... More

We stopped off in Aix quite late on our way to Marseilles and was happy to find Les 2 Freres would serve us. After trying to find parking for 20 minutes, eventually figured out the restaurant had it's own parking which was around the back and not very well lit. Service was good if not amazing... We ordered Bandol for... More

Aix en Provence is beautiful and despite this restaurant being a a ten minute walk away from the main attractions it was definitely worth the walk. The location is out of the way but vey stylish. We opted to sit on the terrace which was a blessed relief given the beaming sun, we were seated promptly without a reservation. The... More

It's a restaurant sutck in a residential area taking advantage couting on the fact that people won't walk 10 more minutes towards the better downtown places to charge a lot for a just above average lunch. The atmosphere is pleasanr and the food is alright, no real complaint, but nothing exceptional either. Yet they charge as if they were Michelin... More

After reading some of the reviews I penned this. We went there on a Monday night in early November so the service was very good as it was not busy. The food was equally very good as was the wine recommendations. My only objection was it did not open to 7.45 pm which seems a bit silly.

At recommendation of our hotel we dined at 2 Brothers....first they were understaffed and while our waiter tried very hard, it took 45 minutes before he could take our order and he was so rushed it was a stressful meal because he was so rushed at every turn. Second, the food was just okay. The beef was flank steak and... More

While overall, we had a good experience, it was a little pricey. The outdoor dining area had a ton of ambience and the service was the best of trip so far. Especially in a country not known for attentiveness of its wait staff. Food was cooked and presented well.
