If you want an overpriced tourist trap restaurant with mediocre food and outside seating, go elsewhere. If you're looking for delicious food, super charming, great service, and unbeatable prices, this restaurant is for you! It doesn't open (for dinner) until 7:30 so go then and you'll have no problem finding a seat because as I said, it's a local place,... More

I generally don't go back to a restaurant if i'm staying somewhere unless the food is brilliant and I must say this place's food is absolutely fantastic, and for its value it's just a no-brainer. If you like well-cooked, authentic French cuisine you cannot go wrong here. At €18.50 you get 3 courses of pure delight served to you in... More

We followed a recommendation in a Dorling Kindersley guide book and hunted down this restaurant door our final meal in France. It was well worth the walk as the meal was fantastic. The food was really well cooked. It's simple, traditional food, and really tasty. The three course meal deal was good value. The service was efficient and friendly, well... More

I first discovered Le Comté d'Aix in 2006, on my first trip to the city. The food was really good, and priced very reasonably--but there was no one in the restaurant!! When I asked the owner why, he said it was because they don't have a street-terrace like some other nearby places, and during the summer everyone wants to sit... More

We had a very nice meal here one Friday night. The service was very good, the food was tasty, and at 58 euro for three courses for two people including half a bottle wine, we thought it was very good value. We would recommend it if you you don't need to eat on the trendier (and more expensive) Cours Mirabeau... More

In an area where it can be difficult to find a meal at a reasonable price, Le Comte offers great regional dishes and is quite affordable. The menu offered a variety of choices and our meals arrived quickly. I would recommend ordering a three course meal for 18.50 euro. My appetizer of chicken livers in cognac was delicious; my entree... More

A simple restaurant, small, with a absolutely frendly service provided by Nicolas, and a tasty dinner done by Yannick. Cozy, delicious and a fair price. If I had just one night to dinner in Aix-en-Provance, this place would be my choice! Congratulations to both!!!

The food was very good, the price was great, the Rose wine fantastic, and the service was excellent. We highly recommend skipping the large restaurants on the squares and head to the side streets to find a small restaurant such as this one. We would definitely go back here if we ever get back to Aix en Provence.

A small quaint restaurant in Aix center, owner is the cook & 1 person to serve. The menu is seasonal and we found this to be one of the best value meals we have had in our 10 days in Provence. The service was fast, super friendly & English was not a problem. The food was excellent and the choice... More
