Limited but excellent choices on the menu.

Their menu is posted and gives you choices as to the number of courses you want. The dishes are creative and tasty. I enjoyed a started of open ravioli of duck & apricot with foie gras & mushroom sauce. Then sea bass with crab & pea risotto & shellfish bisque. My husband had filet of beef with... read more

Given the high prices at this restaurant, I can't see what all the excitement is about. The foie gras "club sandwich" was good but not an out of body experience (and I love foie gras). The steak was fine, but nothing really special given the price. I was dining solo and felt the service was rather slow and inattentive. (It... More

Small restaurant, limited menu, outstanding food. Irish owner prepares gastronomical delights. Appetizer foie gras "club sandwich" is a one-in-a-million treat. Eat outside or in.

On a recommendation, we tried this restaurant. The food overall was very good, although a little on the expensive side. The starters we had were scallops, gazpacho, and seared tuna. Not sure about the gazpacho, but the others were good. For mains, we had the duck, the hake fish, and the sea bass. Fish again was good, but the duck... More

Lovely food although we found the dessert (a meringue) just too sweet with not enough fruit to compensate for that. The strter and mian courses were delicious. However we were shown to a basement as we were told that the rest of the restaurant was full. It smelt slightly fusty and noone else came in so there was no atmosphere.... More

I had the seared tuna which was delicious as an appetizer. My partner had the foie gras, which she said was the best she had ever had. The main courses were also delicious. The chef is French, and his wife was from Ireland and was especially welcoming. Each bite of French food, made with fresh ingredients, is so tasty.

Dominated by fresh local produce, the menu was accompanied by a good wine list. The staff were friendly and helpful. We had a great meal

We had two lovely meals at this restaurant on our stay in Aix en Provence. The owner and the staff are all very pleasant and the service was excellent. Although not cheap the food was exceptionally cooked and we would have no hesitation about recommending this restaurant to others and going again ourselves when in the area

This is what you expect in France, not the mediocre restaurants populating the plazas. Hard to find, but worth the effort. Like all really good restaurants, they do just a few things, but do them well. Three course meal 37 euro, 5 choices each course, end of story. Got to try two of each, thanks to wife, and all were...
