Food was very good. The waiter was very professional and efficient. It was a cold day and being underground meant it had a warm cosy atmosphere. Would highly recommend.

Fabulous food, coupled with lovely wine cellar ambience, and a fantastic host who knows his food and wine. Not being a huge French food fan, I was somewhat hesitant as the menu is small. However this dinning expiernce is now at the top of my list of culinary delights. We highly recommend it. Advance booking is recommended

Lovely food, very nice host, interesting setting eating in a vaulted basement. Not cheap but worth it. One of us like the foie gras so much they had 2 servings. Would definitely go back.

Located in what seems to be a converted wine cellar, the restaurant is wonderful culinary experience. The menu selection is not large but is delicious, fresh and fait maison. With seating for perhaps thirty, advance booking is highly recommended. The dining area is well appointed and well served by the friendly and bilingual staff.

After a number of disappointments) 30 years ago there would have been none) this place restored our faith. A simple lunch time menu of ravioli and sword fish and in particular the mouselline of cauliflower satisfied our hunger. The clafoutis at the end was outstanding. Well worth a second visit we think

Service was terrific and the fish was fresh. The ambiance was quiet and a nice indoor location for a day when patio seating is not the best option.

My wife and I had a wonderful 3 course meal here served by a wonderful waiter in what must be one of the smallest spaces in Aix. We loved it. Had delicious pate for starters and excellent steak for mains followed by a very decent selection of sorbets. The wine suggested was superb too. Highly recommended - but DO book... More

Small restaurant -- perhaps 15 tables -- in stone-walled "cave" accessed through circular stairway. Excellent chef with name credentials preparing limited menu with fresh ingredients, lovely presentation and great flavors. Soft music, candles and low-key, friendly service create lovely atmosphere.
