This place is a hidden gem. The owner is the chef and he only uses fresh produce and he is extremly talented. We just spent 8 nights in Aix and after eating at a couple of restaurants none of them came close to this place. They friendly and the food is just amazing. This restaurant should be on trip advisor without a doubt. His food melts in your mouth and the flavors are out of this world. The owners are Ludovic & Laura Aillaud

Zeno's Paradox

Tonights dinner had me thinking of Zeno's Paradoxes. Particularly the Dichotomy Paradox. Where if each time you have an action/ movement you travel half the distance you never finish. The restaurant is small but the atmosphere is cozy! The menu is small but the food is exceptional! We had dinner there and everything was fresh and well prepared. I had a fish dish and my husband had the venison. Both were fantastic! The service was great as well and the owner was very friendly! You won't be disappointed!

Lunch on the restaurant square in Aix is a great way to relax and soak in the atmosphere that is Aix En Provence. Easy to get to as its only 30mins from Marseille airport. This is a very small restaurant that requires booking ahead. It was highly recommended and it didn't in any way disappoint. Small menu well prepared with... More

Dining is on the "place" outside of this tiny restaurant, as with most nearby places. The owner is charming, the food is excellent, and there is more choice than one would expect in a place this small. The menu changes depending on what's available in the market, so it's always fresh--and interesting, too. Highly recommend this place.

Beautiful scenic spot in square to people watch . Expectations from other reviews were high but food was nothing more than average. Service was adequate on a busy Friday night. Atmosphere with adequate food

Went there for lunch, alone. Was very well taken care of! All the dishes were thoroughly explained to me in French and English. Had the fish of the day with risotto, and I must say it was really above my expectations! The waiter let me taste the white wine before choosing, which was a nice gesture. For dessert I had... More

Excellent food, great ambiance, amazing lemon meringue tart. Great Service, too! One of the best in Aix, definitely get a reservation, because it's very small.

The Epicurien, a small restaurant with terras on the Place des Cardeurs. What a gem hidden in the centre of Aix en Provence, but be sure to make a reservation. They have a small menu, but everything is homemade and so very tasty! The service was very good as well. Highly recommended!
