Good value for our money

Service was friendly. No English menu but waiter was helpful. All dishes were good. No surprises. About 40 Euro per each, including one bottle of white local wine. Nice evening. Recommended.

My Friend from Aix recommend this restaurant. With no reservations we managed to get the last table for 4. The green tomato tart was very nice. My wife had the fois gras that was exceptional. My friend had the pouched chicken bites that were a little dry. I had the rabbit that was very good. My wife had the duck... More

A very welcoming and helpful staff, whether in French, English, Spanish, etc. Quiet , professional, completely unpretentious. The home-made fois gras is exceptional, the main courses excellent bistro fare. The house red falls short of the food so order something better

Modern decor, good soundtrack, helpful service. I had pumpkin soup and then lamb shank. Both were good, although in need of seasoning.

This restaurant came highly recommended, including by our hotel. But it turned into a disappointing, tiring experience. They were quite busy when we got there, so were expecting somewhat of a delay in service. But no menus for 30 minutes? And that long again to take our order? The owner at one point early on stopped but our table, very... More

The steak we ordered was not cooked to requirements and was very tough and Inedible. They also ran out of beer early in the evening. Poor stock control. It was overpriced for the quality of the food.

Me and my wife were wandering around in Aix looking for a restaurant but undecided. Bumped into La Tamate Verte after a long walk and got a pleasant surprise. The service by the lady was very good and friendly. We tried a beef and a lamp, both were good. The starter (fro gras) and the desert (chocolate cake) were also... More

We where looking for a place to eat, in mis day, mid August, in mid AIX. Luckily we found a place here. A small restaurant in the middle of the street. We felt it will be OK but were surprised with the excellent food. The Gaspachio was amazing!

Had dinner here while in Aix and enjoyed the coziness and ambience and the food. Very friendly owners who were very attentive throughout our wonderful dinners of duck breast and lamb. Located in a very pedestrian friendly neighbourhood not far off le Cours Mirabeau. We were guided through the menu by the staff and followed their recommendations and the meal... More
