This restaurant is well located in the heart of Aix-En-Provence, and offers superb French cuisine. It can be pricey, but it is worth every penny. Dishes are well presented and the service is exemplary, including a detailed explanation of each starter and entree. The staff are very patient with those who are not fluent in French and require more information... More

Recommended by our landlord at our apartment, this lovely restaurant in a busy area was a delight. We had the 39euro fixed menu and every course was a delight - our fishes included scallops in a lobster bisque, lamb fillet, beef cheek ravioli and some delicious desserts. Service was excellent on a busy night and this place is highly recommended.

In order to dine well on beautifully prepared food avoid the usual tourist traps in this lovely town and book a meal at poivre d'ane. The combinations may sound a little strange but trust this very talented chef and enjoy.

We wanted some "proper" French cooking, after the endless pizzas and fast food that is all too prevalent, so booked this restaurant for Sunday evening - and were very much not disappointed. We chose the "menu decouverte" at 45 euros, which has the advantage that the chef decides for you what you will eat, but we were asked whether we... More

Excellent food and waitresses. Nothing to criticise at all. Not cheap, but worth it for the quality. Recommended by a local @ our hotel. Unusual pairing of raspberry pistachio tiramisu was unforgettable.

Recommended by our hotel, we were truly impressed and even surprised about the quality of food and service. An excellent dinner with every single course excellent in presentation and taste. Complimented by attentive and unobtrusive service. One of the best places we found in a 10 day trip through the region, at par with 2star Michelin restaurants, and definitely a... More

Tucked away on a corner, this place looks quite understated from the outside but delivers once you are through the door. Modern decor, amazing service (including staff who interpreted all the courses into English), this place is worth a visit. We went for the chef's surprise menu at 46euros and rolled back to our hotel. The quality was superb (including... More

We stayed 4 nights in Aix and had 4 excellent dinners but this was the best. The two waitresses did sterling work translating into English and the food was top notch, from the amuse bouche at the beginning to the limoncello at the end.

They have expanded the menu here in the last year , the food is original, very good value, and perfectly cooked. Service is very friendly and atmosphere great in this very small and compact reasaurant.

But for a hard shelled chocolate dome desert it was OK.Unfortunately this region caused me to believe you can bet bad meals in France. Prices high separate and apart from the EU differential. The staff were lovely professional and try hard. Pretty but very small space. Sincere attempt at creative gastronomy.
