Just ok. I'm sure you can have a better experience in Aix. Maybe my expectations were too high. It's just ok. Really. Didn't see a single star.

Think of the maximum amount you would expect to pay for an enjoyable meal out and double it! If this doesn't daunt you, you'll appreciate a visit here. We went for the seven course "amateur" menu, with matching wines. The staff were really helpful with substitutions for dietary restrictions. Throughout the meal, which went at a place to suit us,... The food was superlative and very well presented - worthy of a restaurant with a better Michelin star rating. We attended with young children and were very well catered for.

A wonderful restaurant located in central Aix en Provence. The place is elegant with impressive, colorful artwork. The service is impeccable. The food was outstanding. The wine was perfect, a local Rose - Cote De Veau - was perfect with our lamb main dish. The fromages were exceptional. The waiter recommended a mildly sweet after-dinner wine, Vin Au Verre also... The only thing that I would like to say "This restaurant should be with three Michelin stars". Exceptional experience.

Restaurant Pierre Reboul is a little tricky to find, the Petite Rue Saint Jean is hidden between the Cours Mirabeau and the Palais de Justice and behind Cafe Verdun. It is worth the effort. There are two places to eat here the Petit PiR and the Restaurant. M. Reboul likes to use the Greek Pi as his symbol, thus look... More

We arrived at Petit Reboul (which shares a kitchen with its gastronomic frere -- Pierre Reboul) full of anticipation. Having enjoyed molecular cuisine in other cities, our expectations were high. Unfortunately, what we encountered was not creative or innovative. Our staters, which featured a stalk of asparagus and something like an overcooked, fallen asparagus souffle, were unappetizingly presented, bland, and... More

The chef at Pierre Reboul creates some of the most inventive and fun dishes we have ever had. He does an excellent job of combining art on the plate with excellent flavors.

There are restaurants that make great food, then there are places like this that take the experience to a new level. We tried the "Les Amateurs" a 7 course tasting menu that was very special. Obviously the chef is very creative and each dish was well prepared with a unique presentation. The wine pairings were also superb. The room is... More

We had a fabulous, and expensive, dinner at Pierre reboul. The food was delicious and extremely unusual and creative so a meal there will be unlike most other dinners. The staff was warm and welcoming and all four of us thought it was a wonderful evening.
