What's good? The restaurant itself is great, decor very nice, great spacing between tables. The service was generally also very good. The food was presented very well, with some dishes approaching good art. And the best bread we have ever been served at a restaurant. Take your time, there will be no pressure from the staff. What's not? Ultimately this... More

The conceptual and esthetic quailty of this restaurant cannot fully be expressed in words-- the synergy of colors, textures, surprising combinations soar was above Coi or quince in San Francisco or Manresa in Los Gatos in California -- my husband said it was equal only to Noma in Copenhagen (at about half the price). This is world class conceptual art... More

Lunch was nearly perfect. We had the L'Amateur menu with wine pairing. Service and food presentation was without fault. Each course was beautiful and tasty. Wine was a great match to the food. We had our 5 years old daughter with us. She was able to select from the Petit Pierre Reboul menu which was great. The only thorn in... More

Our daughter and her partner have really enjoyed this restaurant and to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary our daughter took us there as a special treat. The molecular menu was a new experience for me and the combination of flavours and presentation was impressive. The service was excellent and the decor was great. This was an exceptional visit, perhaps a... More

Everything about the dinner was outstanding. The service was impeccable, courses timed well, flavors jumped out at you. Presentation was very imaginative. Expensive but well worth every Euro. Michelin star for a reason.

Pierre Reboul offers extremely inventive dishes in the deconstructed, kitchen-as-chemistry laboratory style. Think elBulli but with Provencal flavors and attitudes. The chef makes extremely good use of local ingredients: the starting dish of tomatoes is memorable. Also, the deconstructed bouillabaise is splendid. Even if you eat nothing else, do NOT pass up the grenouilles (frogs' legs) in the style of Russian... More

We had the € 151 (per person) degustation. Absolutely amazing. The attention to detail for the food, the presentation and the service was beyond excellent. The food that arrives is not as you might expect. The food, full of fun and mischief, is presented to you not just for eating but to delight the e It's a once in a... More

I had the €54 set menu for lunch. Wonderfully creative food and presentation. Attentive, but discreet service. Would not hesitate to return or recommend it. Great experience. Best meal in Aix by quite some distance.

Excellent mixture between molecular cuisine and conventional. Great experience over 13 dishes - the recommanded wine was well choosen too. Only little draw back was the spaghetti - over cooked and with not enough salt - this is how french chefs cook pasta - but I have never seen such a beautiful decorated pasta. So, great and surprisingly cheap! Extremly... More
