A nice find!

Loved this restaurant. The staff were so helpful and pleasant and delighted to see us when we returned for our last night! If you take a table outside it is a great street for people watching.. The food was very good, well presented with great flavours, a slightly Asian twist. Would definitely go... read more

We came to this restaurant last year and enjoyed it so much, we decided to come back again on our visit to La Rochelle this year. Again we were not disappointed! The food was fantastic, for starters we had breaded butterfly prawns with a lovely mild spicy sauce, for mains someone had the beef curry served in a mini wok,... More

It was only on our third trip to La Rochelle in recent years that we first discovered this restaurant, and we liked it so much that we paid a second visit. The staff were so friendly, that we were flattered, but not surprised, to be recognised on the second occasion, and made warmly welcome. The fusion of styles made for... More

We sat outside on a lovely 14th July evening and enjoyed an excellent meal for our last night in La Rochelle. Although very busy, staff were excellent and very friendly. Our food and wine were very very good and €90 well spent.

Maybe its because I don't like cook salmon taste else the curry taste rich. My wife got a beef brocette medium done and its perfect. Kids menu is 4 piece nuggets or... More

We found this restaurant because it was recommended by the receptionnist at the hotel. Well, was she right...great food, most served out of hot iron casseroles. Service was very nice and the price very reasonable. Of all the restaurants we ate at on our three week stay in France, for the price, this one we remenber well.

Our annual visit to La Rochelle, the ladies spent the morning shopping, so many shops, and then to the harbour for lunch, walk along the quay towards the Towers at the end of the tourist eateries on the right is rue St Jean du Perot with real restaurants and bistrots, and this bistrot is halfway down on the left. The... More

This was one of those read the menu, sit down, then realise the chairs are a different colour and you are in the wrong restaurant! But nothing bad for all that! The food was a bit of a strange fusion for my liking. But my salmon in a banana leaf (I think!) was nice if a little too herby. For... More

I stopped in La Rochelle en route from SanSebastian to Mont St Michel, and had one of the best dinners of the trip here. A delightful mix of French port seafood with a hint of North African/Asian spice is the best way to put it. Every course was lovely. Look, I'm not a foodie but I do appreciate unique and... More

We were staying 2 nights in La Rochelle to celebrate a 40th wedding anniversary and found this restaurant by chance escaping some cold, wet weather. The menu was an interesting mix of traditional French favourites with Asian and north African twists. The quality of the both the cooking and the products were outstanding. The staff were charming and efficient. The... More
