Having read the good reviews, we went out of our way to eat here on the way from Paris to a vacation on Ile de Ré and it was excellent. Everything was fresh delicious the way you hope that seafood would be but so often it is not. Oysters, fresh shellfish platter and Fish and Chips French style plus lovely... More

We arrived here by accident, we took our dogs for a walk Nd asked if we could sit and have a drink. The owner told us to sit down and we had a glass of wine, whilst in there a few of the diners came over to admire our dogs (Rhodesian Ridgebacks) quite unusual in France. They told us that... More

Perfect seafood simply cooked. We shared a lovely Seafood platter while enjoying wonderful views. The restaurant was packed so may be best to book if you can. Good selection of fairly priced wines too.

Having a vacation home in the nearby Ile de Ré, we venture from time to time to La Rochelle, where we discovered this most excellent, but unpretentious restaurant. It is not located in the city of La Rochelle, itself, but in L'Houmeau, a small suburb, less than 5 kms away. The restaurant offers an outstanding quality of food (freshness of... More

We had this restaurant recommended by our B&B host, and where not disappointed! Allthough a little difficult to find (our GPS mislead us based on the adress), it was worth looking for. We had not made a booking in advance, but luckily we got the last table on the terrace. The oysters where freshfrom the sea, and the dorado absolutely... More

We visited twice in a week in Rochelle. (If you are going by taxi make sure your driver knows where the restaurant is before setting off - our fouled up but had the grace to stop the meter and then discount the fare; on our second visit I drove but still missed the exit from the bypass!). Anyway. A great... More

We came here for a family meal and were delighted with the service, the food and the atmosphere. The food was delicious and is very seafood orientated, the service was great and the surrounding area was lovely. A wonderful evening and we would recommend it to everyone!

Now that I'm hooked on French seafood, I came here on my own for dinner. Great food at a great price; well presented and great tasting.
